A consumer survey conducted in 2022 to gauge financial awareness amongst women across 18 regions in India shows that women tend to shy away from making financial decisions on their own. Even when they are driven and keen on establishing strong career paths, women rarely think about investing for themselves or safeguarding the legacy they work hard to build. And finance brands aren’t exactly clamouring to get their attention or sell the right investment products to them.
Our goal was to help our client partner and one of India’s leading life insurance brands turn this gender gap into an opportunity, by working with women to lead real change. We collaborated with 30+ influential female voices across the country (focusing on the West), to encourage our female consumers to become policyholders and break the norm of women only playing the role of beneficiary.
