Removing the metallic frame from the display before ypu do the lcd and top glass separation is the hardest part of the whole repair process but its the part rhat you conveniently didn't show how you do it.

Hi, first of all thanks for the video and how well you explained it. I have a little problem, I followed all your steps and for some reason after finishing the repair I get the "Face ID is not available. Try again later". I've tried every solution I've found in the internet: cleaning camera, trudepth and dot sensors, reseting face id, reseting the iPhone, updating it, even reinstalling the firmware, but nothing works. However, it is a little bit strange because after reseting or reinstalling the firmware, the first time when I'm setting the face id everything works and after that if I try to use it, it doesn't work, and if i reset it and try to set it again it doesn't work. I don't know what may be happening but I would aprreciate very much your help or any other's. Thanks in advance

Cool, if we all learn to just replace the iPhone (or any cellphone's glass) LCD's glass w/ the digitizer, we don't need to buy very expensive cases and very expensive tempered glass which is as expensive a complete LCD assembly from leading sites that have OEM (original but doesn't have the brand logo) parts. God bless ingenuity.

Excellent! I replaced my front camera to find the Face ID didn't work and frankly I valued my FaceID more than I did the front camera! Then I found this video. Managed to do it myself without the tools I had available and now phone all working again with the original FaceID module and new camera. Thanks so much!!!
