Santiago, you are no longer a baby. You’re already a big boy at 8 years old.
Every day it hurts, but today it always hurts a little more.
They stole everything from you! They stole everything from us.
They could have helped us when mom and dad asked for help for you, but we were ignored.
Your family loves you very much, looks for you and waits for you.
I have faith that Jesus protects you in His arms.
I have faith that He will bring you to me.
I have faith that as we help so many other children and families, one day we will be rewarded in life for this grace.
I continue every day with the faith that one day we will hug and finally I will be able to protect you, love you, smell you and be able to calm my heart.
Mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather and many others are waiting for you.
My son, wherever you are today, I hope you are well and that you feel loved by us…because I know you know that I am here looking for you.
I’m sure there’s a handsome kid out there, with brown or blue eyes, who looks like me or Leon Edwards and who’s a very strong kid, spiritually and mentally. You are the result of lots of love.
