Celebrating the life and talent of Jean-Michel Basquiat. He would have turned 50 on Dec. 22, 2010. Grateful for the man and his work. Grateful also for those around him who lifted up his talent for the rest of us to see. It's All Over Now Baby Blue - Van Morrison (Basquiat Soundtrack)

A music vid... More of Eddie Izzard hanging with his fans on the Stripped US Tour. Thank you Eddie for being such a great reminder to pursue our dreams - with gusto. See you in the movies!
Eddie Izzard Q&A: Letting the Cables Sleep
มุมมอง 4.8K16 ปีที่แล้ว
My 1st video - attempts to capture moments of Eddie Izzard's "Stripped" tour and some topics "of social import" from his generous Q&A sessions. Thanks to all the Eddie Izzard fans who shared their experiences with us - and thank you to Eddie Izzard for sharing himself.
Fantastic, such a genius!!
Fantastic video. I am floored
discovered Eddie Izzard in 2001. 2 years after Dressed to Kill was released. I was working out of town and staying at a Hotel. Turned on HBO and the opening credits were starting. I love comedy shows, so it was naturally, "Oh cool! A comedy show!" and then Eddie walked out, and I thought wtf? lol. He got my attention. And he starts talking about the male tomboy explanation and it blew my mind. I went onto LMAO the whole show. Fell in love with him that night and have been a huge fan ever since.
brilliant! .... thank you..
2:03..what's that?
I can't stand without listening more and more "It's all over now Baby Blue" by Van Morrison. I did not realized that was part of the sountrack of the movie, when Basquiat paints the red dress.
ummm letting the cables sleep!! lol it says in the title. its gavin rossdale singing. im not sureifthis is still bush or just his solo stuff
Thanks much! Eddie is talking about the genetic code (in Nashville - Enjoue's vid). He says, "somewhere in there is the thing that says 'straight transvestite'... I don't know why, but I'm just being honest about it - and honesty has got to be a good thing kids."
what does he say at 2.34?? LOVE the vid!
He said someone in there
I love this video -- I am getting ready to go to London to see the MAN. Love it, love him..
Its one of those things in life, we cant help. Eddie's more than enjoyable and likable. Plus, he hasn't a fake bone in his body. I noticed after his shows, he's kind enough to share his time with fans to answer questions. He's going to stay a popular comedian and actor for years to come. Like Rik Mayall of England, Eddie has became one of Britain's finest.
indubidibly!
we all love this man dont we
Thanks!! And a perfect intro to the video, too. (Yeah, I'm biased...it's my kid asking the question!) Great vid!
words fail me
What a beautiful tribute to Eddie. I am blubbering over here in NYC. Brava, brava!
What can I say? It's grrrreat! Love it!
Oh gosh! I love this. What's the song? I really like it. This is just great! <3
You've killed me dead with this video haha!!
GREATNESS!
Are you still alive or not
I’m still alive and living in San Francisco Bay Area.
@@aboxofpaint Ok i just asking
Groovy for sure... but the question is... did you keep your clothes on? ... "I Got Life..."
Too Cool ! Let's see, it was '71, I think. The play was touring and I had a front row seat and we danced on the stage during that finale. Let the sun shine in indeed. thanx for memories.
Very nice! I do hope he really goes back to England soon, I'm from the American continent but that's my only chance to see him live.
Very Nice!
Well done to you! I love the clips you selected - I think they highlight what makes Q&A so great: they serve as a lesson/reminder that Eddie is more than a brilliant comedian - he's an active, positive, progress-minded person, someone you can respect as well as admire.
thanks! - yes... the QA's are all insightful. So much good stuff out there... Check out Nashville (enjoue), Portland (moobunnymoo), and Pittsburgh (fencingbabe17) where I was fortunate enough to ask a question. My admiration for Eddie just gets deeper.
Very nice work. Thanks. Seen a few shows but not a Q & A yet. You've inspired me to go on....
I know I've already commented, but I think the beginning with all the screaming and all the cell phones and cameras on him at the 1:14 clip really show the "rock star" quality. It's too cool:)
Very cool! Thank you for this. Saw him in New York on the Tour - Awesome! He's a beautiful person !
Found some new clips - and did some tweeking. Will try to keep my hands off it now!
Looks great!
