You should react to the song “Gone” from the Hope album next. I know it is out of order for the journey you are on but you won’t regret it! Gone is sort of like a part 2 of this song. You can really see his growth as a person as he recalls the same relationship from a more “Hope”ful perspective!

I’m not sure if you know, but it was Sam Cooke’s final song, it was an incredibly brave subject to write about at that time. I hope he’s in a better place now, we still have a lot to learn.
