Join us on an unforgettable Christmas journey through the heart of South Africa's Kruger National Park. Our adventure begins as we travel along the N4, entering the park through the Crocodile Bridge Gate. We immerse ourselves in the wild, staying at the serene Lower Sabie and the vibrant Satara rest camps, each offering unique encounters with nature. Our journey takes us to landmarks like Skukuza, Afsaal, and Tshokwane, where the raw beauty of the African bush comes alive. We marvel at the panoramic views of Olifants, and the tranquillity of Letaba, capturing these moments to share with you. Our expedition concludes as we exit through the Phalaborwa Gate, leaving with memories of a Christmas spent amongst the majestic wildlife of Kruger National Park. Watch as we explore, discover, and celebrate the festive season in one of the most spectacular wildlife havens on the planet.

Breedt's Nek off-roading with a Land Rover Discovery 4

The Discovery easily cleared all obstacles in the standard comfort mode at off-road height. The mud sliding was a bit my fault as I did not have it in mud mode. I do think maintaining speed through mud is important - although I'm not sure what to do when the car starts sliding except try to anticipate the drift, correct it and strategically apply the throttle. We recently toured the Kruger National Park. 2 Land Rover Discovery 4s and 1 Land Rover Defender (2020). We visited the Bateleur bush camp, Shingwedzi, Punda Maria, Mopani, Olifants, Satara and Letaba as well as other notable areas in the Kruger National Park like Crook's Corner.

Center and rear difflock in action nearing the end of the video. There were some rocks and mud at times, but the Discovery simply drives over it.

Lize-Mari en Arné se eerste Desember-vakansie as getroude paar. Ons het vertrek in Pretoria en gereis na Mountain Zebra National Park in die Oos-Kaap. Daarna was ons na 'n troue toe op die Blomfontein trou-venue naby Cradock. Toe vertrek ons na Orania via Petrusville.
Was baie lekker gewees lekker om julle te ontmoet, regte hartsmense!❤️

Jig Johan, nie gedink ons video gaan jou siek maak nie :D .. jammer daaroor! Die Discovery 4 is gerate vir 75kg op die dak, alhoewel FrontRunner beweer mens kan 300kg laai.
@@wilder_adventures Weet nie of jy weet nie. Indien jy in 'n ongeluk is met 'n oorlaaide voertuig (veral 'n dakrak met vloeistof so hoog op) sal jou versekering heel moontlik nie 'n eis uit betaal nie. (Frontrunner kan sê wat hulle wil, dit hang alles af wat jou vervaardiger van die voertuig sê)
Dit is 100% waar 👍🏻.. ons stel nie voor mens laai 300kg nie, en dat mens bly by die manufacturer se specs.
I love it but when do humans leave nature a little in peace. Why all that selling? Your should grow the park and create limitations for human action inside. I still.learned Africanse a little in school.but forgotten only with german I got through.

Ek het begin kyk, maar toe gestop toe die bandversneliing begin. Julle ouens vergeet dat ek deel is van die rit wat bederf word op die lekkerste dele - die rit self.

Ek het dit nou baie geniet. Jy maak n grap van jou pa wat 60 jaar gevat het om Etosha te sien. Eks 50 en bly in Namibia en was nog nooit daar nie. As vlieenier net daar oor gevlieg. Dankie dat julle ons mooi land met ons gedeel het. Wees veilig en ons wag vir julle volgende trip.

Good suggestion on the edit, Bruce. We are fully aware that recovering like that is dangerous. It was a lapse in judgment (probably due to the stress of the situation, being stuck and all), and we are thankful that it went well 👍🏻 Do you see any other obvious ways that the vehicles are misused? We attended 2 Land Rover advanced driver courses already, and keen to learn more!

Moet net se daai recovery van julle was baie gevaarlike gewees. Moet nooooit n voertuig van af sy tou-hak af sleep nie. Daai Hak kan breek en dan kom daai stuk yster reguit deur jou voor ruit gevlieg. Moet altyd van n recover point af werk.
Dit is so! Mens is maar bietjie "geshake" in sulke situasies - dan dink mens nie mooi waar om die voertuig te haak nie. Les is geleer, en ons is dankbaar dat ons deur dit is! Loop elke hindernis, staan 'n rukkie terug voor mens besluite maak, anders kan 'n slegte situasie in 'n ramp verander.
Ek het 'n blur apply oor die Defender se agterkant dat mense nie die verkeerde idee kry nie

Hi daar! Dit is maps.me (maps with me). Jy kan die app aflaai, en dan sekere gebiede aflaai om te gebruik wanneer jou foon nie sein of wifi het nie. Mens se foon kan enige plek GPS opvang, so al waaroor dit gaan is om die kaar te he, sodat jy kan sien waar jy is op die kaart.
I love and adore the Afrikaners. They are a formidable people. They build South Africa. It must be heartbreaking to watch it’s decline. Any way I used to live in SA before the fall of the country. I am from Northern Ireland I hope you speak some English. I have been to Shamwari Londolozi and many many times to the Kruger. X
When did South Africa fall? 😅.. South Africans, regardless of race, are still a super proud and resilient bunch. Just watch the Springboks play and you’ll get the gist.
