Usually lotus stem takes time to get cooked properly. If we cook lotus stem without water in cooker and with onions only, it got burned for me. How come it cooked for you ?
I think you kept the flame on high. Keep the flame on medium and this will cook the Lotus Stem as well as caramelize the onions.

7:20 ko kids nikalte hain and 3:30pm wapas aate hain. They have full day school and Breakfast , Lunch ke sath snack break bhi hota hain. Not giving anything fancy just basic ghar ka khana hain daily ka😊
