Do you kmow something about the mechanics?? It is compatible with antother one??
@@manuelalejandrosotoarambul995 Tajima
Thanks How would you describe to differences in the two machines?
May I ask which Otto hat this is? Comparing different ones going to order a few.
Came a long way in 8 mos bro. 👏🏾
What file format does the 1201 use?
It uses .DST files only
@ appreciate it
Just ordered mine today. Been wanting one for a long time🙏🏾
Wow that machine is a Tajima Sai imitation right ?….
great video thank you so much
Can you recommend your digitizer to work logos for hats please!
@@snakeohp check out Gunold Digitizing. Professional level work.
Great video
the problem is the REPAIR shop don't do that machine in a lot of towns. 6000$ for the 7 needle one
What tension do you use for your bobbin and for top thread? Same as when you embroider flat items?
Yes same. I don't touch it unless it looks funky on a test run. Sometimes the bobbins can become loose if dropped.
Who does your digitizing? Or do you do it yourself?
I have a guy that does mine. I started to teach myself but I found out how time consuming it is so I just outsource it.
Have you changed your settings on your cap hoop? To make it stitch lower on the hat? If so do you have the settings for that? I have the settings for the 15 needle unit but I have a 120 one like you and it’s a different setting. Do you have it by chance?
@@ChrisSeckel-b8u I have changed the settings to get it lower. I'll make a video soon.
Have you learned to do puff yet?
I have! I'll do a video soon.
Whats your top/bittom tention for getting through the seam?
Does the belt move slow enough that the ink can be in the chamber for 2 mins? (I’m working with puff ink)
Yes it does. I strictly do water based inks. They take 1 minute and 30 seconds through the chamber at about 15 speed. If you put it down to the 5 speed you can reach the 2 minute mark.
No la compren no vende piezas en amazon
Which is better 1001 or 1201 machine?
Watching several hat embroidery videos and see a trend of not using stabilizer on foam truckers. Is that your experience?
@@LanceMcGrew on foam truckers? Absolutely use stabilizer. I use 3 oz tear away on those.
Can you please share your digitizer? I’ve been looking for a good one. Thank you
What needle do you use on these hats?
@@charlaadams4154 74/11 on these
Your videos are literally the best. Thanks for making them and sharing them! I just got my s1001 and I’ve been using a lot of your videos for help and guidance!
Thank you! I'll try to upload more regularly soon.
Great Video... Thank you. I'm looking to decide between the Bai mirror and Smartstitch to start my hat business.
I'm assuming you pick the thread colors you want and assign them to needles, yes? Are they assigned by thread brand numbers?
@@sharonmyers1265 correct. You assign them in the machine because DST files don’t store that info from the USB.
Love your video.
Great video and I like that you use the 75/11 needles
Yes! I find that those work just fine for the 112. I just pop a new one in before any job to make sure it's sharp.
With smartstitch not having a website how do you contact them
@@gailpettypool2014 through Facebook group
Did that hat attachment come w your machine or separate?
It comes with the machine.
what hoops do you use for this machine? Durkee or Fast Frames?
@@StaceyEdmiston it comes with hoops already.
@@javicreates I currently have a brother prs100. Been doing lots of research on the smart stitch machines. Are they pretty user friendly since I have been embroidering for awhile?
Per shopify, the POS go as a standalone checkout app is going to be entirely discontinued.
When did they announce it?
its on the bulletin boards and on conversations I have had with our rep. They will only be supported in the cradle. They will not be supported as mobile.
@@markricard yeah just read that. They will keep working until 2026.
Wait that’s me in the beginning 😂😂
Is there a tutorial on shirts/hoodies?
Just ordered the 1201.... Now i gotta get the hang of digitizing....
Do you still like it? I found one locally for $1200 but not sure if it’s a good option. Our heat press isn’t curing our dtg correctly
I still love it! Makes curing a breeze and keeps production moving along. If you’re curing DTG get the exhaust that Vastex sells. The DTG fumes aren’t good for you.
Yes I plan on getting it for sure! I just realized that my d100 doesn’t have the hole on top for the vent is that normal? lol
@@BlushandBloomCo.Vastex has a conversion kit to fit older models that don’t have a hole. You can call them up and they can explain how it works but the exhaust should work on models that don’t have a hole.
I’m trying to do a voiceover… i already used the mimo app to create a vlog. But now i want to do a voiceover and it so annoying to sort… how do i do it?
Is it good mic for asmr ?
yes
any info on how to get barcodes for you shopify products?
@@Brhodies401 Shopify has a barcodes app that will generate them for you.
So helpful!
The machine works? I’m interested an buy it one , I’m beginner
Love your channel! It’s your channel and you post what you want and where you want. Thank you for your honesty regarding being an influencer. You’re on the right track, do what makes you happy. Love and appreciate you!!
Great Video! I have the S1501 ,S1201 is a nice machine enjoy 😊
Just came across your video. How do you charge for hats? Per 1k stitches?
Thank you for responding and doing the video. I really appreciate it .
Hope it helped some
Hi thank you for sheer this video I wonder if you can help me little more I got a 15 needle brand new . and honestly I gor no idea hoe to use it
Just put out a new video on how to do hats! th-cam.com/video/LWJajkkTUEc/w-d-xo.html
Just got mine. Can you do a video on uploading everything on the USB and to the machine
Just made one for you! th-cam.com/video/LWJajkkTUEc/w-d-xo.html
Is there a way to skip ahead stitches ? I know how to go back stitches but what if I want to skip stitches.
How do you load designs into the machine? Is there a specific type of file it needs to be on a usb?
It requires a digitized file DST format. You upload it with USB stick.
@@javicreates any suggestion on what to use to create those files to dst format?… I’m stuck on how the computer screen on it works tbh, new to this
@@Lulumgoo I'll make a video this week about that process. You need digitizer software like Hatch, Embrilliance or Inkstitch to convert your files.
My partner and I just got this machine recently, it's great to see someone else learning the ropes around the same time we are! Learning how to navigate and set up the information on the screen has been tricky, could you possibly tell me how to go about setting the thread colors for each needle on the machine? It's defaulted to random colors for each needle, and I can't seem to find how to identify what they actually are threaded with. Any help would be so appreciated!
