This is brilliant cause it's paying direct homage to old school Fu flicks which often had similar introductions. I love that this is proper grounded Fu, that is so rare in movies let alone videogames. What a masterpiece.

A perfect ending to an incredible horror game. Even rewatching the scene and expecting it, Nichole's animalistic scream still gives me goosebumps. This scene is done much better in the original than in the remake imo. Loved this game, my top ten for sure.

man, I can't get over how good that takeoff scene is, from surface to orbit in just one take, it's incredible. and what I like is how, while a little cheesy, the ending jumpscare is vital to the story. it shows to us that while Isaac faced the reality of Nicole's death, it doesn't mean that it's over, as he is now haunted by the guilt. it also shows that the marker made a lasting impact on him, obviously

This Nicole jumpscare was so much spookier than in the Remake. In the new one, Nicole is just kind of sitting there in the chair, so it's immediately clear that he's about to have a spook. Here, she's crouched in the corner, it's unclear if it's a Necro or whatever. Plus, the blank eyes and pale face is scarier than the bloodied one in the remake.
