Hello I took an exam yesterday(proctorio chrome) and suddenly a new tab opened (any desk).Due the fact I was stressed,I chose accept.Then the screen became black as well as a message was at the top said that(this option will exclude you out of the test)while counting backwards,30 sec.)Then I closed the new tab and continued the test till the end where I submitted successfully.Does this mean anything bad for me?Please help me because Iam in a mess

Thank you for the example - it is great and explains the problem well in a general way! For this specific problem, there's a simple way of viewing it as "For each store, how much money will I save by using Warehouse B instead of Warehouse A?" Store 1 saves $2 per item, Store 2 saves $4 per item, Store 3 saves $3 per item. So to save the most money, use Warehouse B where it saves us the most money: first Store 2, then Store 3, then Store 1. It so happens you can fully satisfy Stores 2 and 3 with Warehouse B and still have 40 units left in Warehouse B for Store 1. This shortcut works for this specific problem but may not in the general case. Thought I'd share as it helped me understand the solution!

Hello, for my admissions test I had to install proctorio a day before, and they asked me for permission to see my camera, my screen, and my microphone. However, when I connected to take the official exam, they didn't ask me for permission, I couldn't see the small square with your camera at the corner, and the green light next to my camera never appeared. I just took the test like a normal google forms, and I was able to put music and open other tabs during the test. They never asked me to stop anything at any moment, and when I finished, they nothing happened to let me know if the supervision was over (before, nothing notified me if the supervision started either). I don't know if I was supervised at all, how can I know? Could I have been automatically supervised without asking for my permissions, without the light of my camera turning on, and without the notification of "sharing screen"? I don't know if they were supervising me or not, so please if you could help me understand, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Correction for the XLSTAT screenshot at 15:54 (or Slide 30). When we use XLSTAT to do predictions, under the Prediction tab, please select cells from B15 to B18 for Quantitative, not Column J. This means that we should select 13, 14, 15, and 16 for Time Index. Please leave a comment if this is not clear.

Correction: Time Stamp 3:58, to find B, the p-value for a two-tailed test, we should use 2*(1-T.DIST(11.026, 18, TRUE)). To find D, we use 2*T.DIST(-7.96, 18, TRUE). Both p-values are close to 0. This is because the area to the left of -7.96, a negative number, is indeed one of the two corners we need to find the p-value, so we can just multiply the corner by 2 to get the p-value. However, the area to the left of 11.026, which is a positive number, is not one of the two corners; and we use 1 - T.DIST to find one corner first and then multiply it by 2. I'd recommend drawing a bell curve and labeling where the test statistic is to visualize the two corners. My apologies!
