Not hearing nothing but crackles.
Good morning. I won’t be making an appearance this morning. I took an attention grabbing tumble off a friend’s front steps yesterday. Nothing broken but definitely not dancing any jigs this morning. 😂
Good morning from Bob & nMarilyn
Can someone share with me what happened to pastor Christine? I was watching this channel during the pandemic and was about to start bringing my family in person only to discover the church is now in “transition”. Pastor Christine was great and we all enjoyed her sermons etc. I feel she will be tough to follow.
Hello! My name is Anita, and I'm the Director of Youth & Family Ministry at Trinity, along with managing the livestream service. I am pasting her letter that went out to the congregation here. If you have any questions, or need more information, please feel free to reach out to me. - Anita A message from Pastor Christine Dear siblings in Christ, It is with fondness and sadness that I share my resignation from Trinity, effective October 16th. A few weeks ago I was offered a job with Lutheran Social Services as the Director for Community Engagement. I was not looking for a position with LSS, however because I had served on their board and they know my passion for community partnerships and justice work, they reached out to me. As you might imagine, I felt very torn and have been experiencing many emotions. I’m sure you will have many emotions, too. However, I have decided that this opportunity is right for me and my family. I also think that long term, it will be right for Trinity. I know that in our time together we have done good work. We have prayed, worshipped, and served alongside each other. We have cried and laughed; dreamed and revisited. And somehow, we survived lockdown, TH-cam worship, and Covid. Please trust that this was one of the hardest decisions of my life. There were many factors (some personal; some church related; some familial) that led me to accept this new position. One thing that I have learned throughout my life is that Jesus calls us into things as often as Jesus calls us out of them. One cannot be true without the other. I have been in conversation with the Bishop. She and her staff will work with the council to ensure that Trinity is well cared for. Your council is very capable and astute. With the guidance of the council, the synod, the congregational coach, and all of you, Trinity will continue to thrive. There are many more things to say, but for now, let me say you will always have a special place in my heart, and I pray many graces upon each of your lives. Deep peace and joy, Pastor Christine

Very nice. Had trouble with sound in the beginning then it improved. Some of my favorite hymns, prayers, and verses. Thanks!
This was amazing, we love these videos, thank you! ❤️
The hymn lyrics are as follows: Glory to You God, for yours is the earth Yours is the promise, the blessing, the birth Ours the rejoicing for Word given frame Ours the thanksgiving to your holy name Ours be the telling of deeds greatly done Yours be the glory, O God, yours alone Glory to You God, for yours is the earth Yours the hosannas, the dying, rebirth Ours the rejoicing for nature reclaimed Ours the thanksgiving to your holy name Ours be the telling of deeds greatly done Yours be the glory, O God, yours alone Glory to You God, for yours is the earth Yours the anointing, the radiant worth Ours the rejoicing for spirits aflame Ours the thanksgiving to your holy name Ours be the telling of deeds greatly done Yours be the glory, O God, yours alone
Hymn text: Faith begins by letting go, giving up what had seemed sure, taking risks and pressing on, though the way feels less secure: pilgrimage both right and odd, trusting all our life to God. Faith endures by holding on, keeping mem'ry's roots alive so that hope may bear its fruit; promise-fed, our souls will thrive, not through merit we possess but by God's great faithfulness. Faith matures by reaching out, stretching minds, enlarging hearts, sharing struggles, living prayer, binding up the broken parts; till we find the commonplace ripe with witness to God's grace.
Thank you for posting this lovely, sensitive video. Blessings and peace, Don and Nancy
