Galactic Spaceship is a kinetic sculpture displaying self-similarity properties. It has two axes of movement which allows it to shape itself into tubular or ring forms. Special interaction could be obtained between 2 ships or adding a cargo. Various size of this constructions allows access to different level of complexity and size.

3D Tessellations are investigated with the means of 3D manipulatives. Geometric properties of truncated tetrahedron and truncated octahedron are investigated: infinite knapsack, compression factor. A conjecture is formulated: in this special case of the infinite knapsack problem minimum packing volume is achieved for maximum 2D compression ratio.
