    I was totally against removing all the trees you took out ( I'm a tree hugger) but it still looks nice in your backyard. It would have been much nicer with the trees though. You guys should have a great New Year's there! It's unfortunate the way things are there when it comes to building and renovations. You should follow your wife's advice and go out every 15 minutes.

    Hello Sir, I Visited your TH-cam channel and noticed it ranks lower than others. SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic. Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 0/100%) that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I also noticed that your video thumbnail was good. If you'd like, I can assist you with improving it. I think your TH-cam channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response. Yeah, I battled this for awhile when I first got here trying to find medical insurance I was comfortable with. I could not find a solution locally as their MAX payout maybe 10,000 peso per event and had a fairly high monthly payment to cover the family. I could go on and on. I decided to go this route: the Company I retired from provide health insurance to my family until I turn 65 BUT only emergency care while we are in the Philippines. I got signed up for PHIL HEALTH here in the Philippines (basically more emergency protection) and I pay out of pocket for all check-ups, labs, etc. Good luck in your search. I spent hours and hours trying to find the answer. I know there are some Companies that provide International Coverage but I could not find one that made sense. Dude, I’m serious about sarcasm here in the Philippines and I’m starting to feel like frigging Sheldon!! But thanks for the easy one regarding my beautiful grass and ways to improve it even more by watering it with saltwater……I need practice. To your second point, the “waterlogged” reference has me suspect but I appreciate the advice and will definately research the idea of draining it periodically, Thanks for trying to keep me sharp. Take care

      Reason I mentioned it was, I noticed while taking a shower last night I could tell my pump was going on and off more often. Waterlogged is a term used in the well business (probably not here} Really ,all you do is just drain and refill the pressure tank. Of course yours probably doesn't need yet if it hasn't been in service long. @@mpnsfilipinoretirement

      Partial. I can’t go back and undo that section…. things move fast and they don’t give me time for prep. I figured if someone interested it would help show what house #1 looked like.

      It wouldn't be too difficult to setup if you can't find an installer.... probably be about half as expensive. But either way, well worth the money. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions I can pass-on to our installer. Take care.

    I was married to a wonderful Filipina for 38 years. I lost her to Covid in 2021. Thoughts have gone through my mind if I should remarry but I’m hesitant. First, I don’t want to go through what happened to you. Rules and laws have changed so much since the early 1980’s and I hear too many Filipinas have a complicated “past.” Second, I’m struggling with the idea that I must leave my beloved wife to the past. I want to be buried next to her but I can’t trust any future wife to honor my wishes. So, in my waning years, I prefer to stay widowed and avoid complications and stress in a new relationship. My late wife was my soulmate and I have doubts I can find someone with her exact attributes. I’ve seen too many relationships go south lately.

      Yeah Brother it’s a tough thing to figure out. I was very blessed that me and my first wife had discussions about what we would want if one of us passed away. My position was- I’ll be dead and I won’t care but told her to just be happy and enjoy life and we need companionship. She told me the same. I’m sure most spouses wish their partner left on earth enjoys every day. I may be wrong but I see people whose spouse has passed just basically wilt for years in sorry and if you loved your spouse you would never want that for them until they finally just died in sadness. As far as being buried next to my wife in the US. I have explicit directives to my wife in the Philippines to cremate me ( after they put my body in the living room and party for 5 days and carry my body down the middle of Balanga City as pay back) and send half back to the US to be buried next to my first wife… Just be happy Brother, you know what your wife would have wanted for you. But I tell everyone who will listen to me that that is the most valuable conversation I had with both wives. Sorry to ramble and I hope I didn’t go to a taboo area with you. But I am very passionate about topic. Take care

      In addition, I would absolutely go through this painful process to be where I am now with a beautiful woman and family here in the Philippines. And I never thought or think I left my wife behind because my first wife lives in me every day. She will never be forgotten.

      I’m not offended by what you said. You both have talked about it. I had my conversation, too. My directive for my late wife was that she is free to find someone who will love and support her like I have. While she never told me to go find my happiness, she only asked that I not abandon her nor ignore her after she’s gone. What I did finally found out was after her passing, I contacted her family if they wanted some of her possessions. Her sisters said to send everything of hers to them. I packed and shipped over 23 boxes of personal items to them. Shortly after that they all gave me the cold shoulder. Not even a kumusta. After all the help we gave them and saved 3 of their lives from cancer, this is how they treat me today. With that being said, I am very hesitant to go through that crap, again. Since this past holiday season, I totally blocked everyone in her immediate family. I cut my ties. My wife’s niece who lives in another part of the Philippines is the only member who is in contact with me on a daily basis and checking up on me. We will chat 2 or 3 times a day. When I visit my wife at the cemetery, she requests that we have a video chat so we can pray for my Angel. Her immediate family has never done any of that. So, you see my position regarding any future relationship plans. It hurt the first time losing her and then being dumped by her immediate family is something I do not want to go through, again, emotionally and psychologically. Unfortunately, we married at a late time and never had children. Otherwise, I would have my children to enjoy my remaining years with. I’m not a total loser. I have no problem finding a good woman as a casual friend and dinner date. There is a Filipina who works at my local bank who is in my age bracket and single with no children. I’m slowly trying to work up a casual relationship with her. She’s been single this long for a reason and I respect her decision. However, I would like to just take her out for a lunch or dinner and a show sometime. She is warming up to me, so I don’t want to spook her by being aggressive. So, my friend, there is hope for me. I just want to respect my wife’s wishes and still find some peace and happiness with what’s left in my life. Take care, my friend, and cheers to your new life journey.

      @@mpnsfilipinoretirement, I won’t be marrying her. She has a husband, grown children and grandchildren. She’s just a concerned niece who loves and respects my wife and she wants to be sure I’m doing okay because I’m alone now.

    So you didnt do any research how anything works in the Philippines. We were married oct 2022 and immediately sent off papperwork to consulate in san francisco. Got it done in about a month. It took many months for the PSA to do what they do. If you wait to start at the consulate it will take alot longer. Our annulment took five or six years. But that included getting all the paparwork done after the annulment.

      @mpnsfilipinoretirement 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did a ton of research but after jumping through many many hoops.... I missed the one to file with the Philippine consulate before I let for the Philippines. I got in a hurry towards the end: Married June 3, got notice from my Company that new wife and step-son were accepted onto my healthcare on June 10 and on a one way plane trip to the Philippines on June 14. A trip to Chicago convolute should have been in there. But getting married here was still fasted than waiting for our US marriage to be verified through the PSA. With DEI, it'd probably still be sitting in Chicago under a pile of paper.

    Friend went through this He and his woman went to China for two weeks and got married after two weeks per the law were married went back to P I and were then considered married. He was from Great Britain and both had been married before. In the Philippines they say only rich people get this done. Part of the reason very few people get married. This was about 10 years ago. Was told that they are working on changing the law. But you know how that goes. They were also going to raise the consent age to 14.

      Yeah, we looked at doing something similar but, to be acknowledged as "married" in the Philippines ALL marriages must pass through the PSA and they generate a marriage certificate with their seal. I started wearing a man purse where ever I go just to hold all my documents!!!! Take care
