This tutorial is pretty old. I’m not sure if the mod is still compatible with the current game version.

@@VACborn yeah, they took it down and i found a reupload, was hoping it would work. i did get it to do something but it broke everything and i couldn't play the game. gosh, Nintendo sucks

That’s weird, did you try doing it all over again one more time? I never heard of this issue. If something is wrong it usually just crashes the game.

@@VACborn Well, here's the wierd thing: I've also installed it for some other mod which was a collection of V-Tuber card mods by a person named hinalein26 on Nexus Mods and even that one made new cards mod not work properly. :( This is after a clean install of the game for both instances.

for context the vtuber mod is called "Big V-Tuber Collection"

I haven’t been at my pc for two weeks. I just saw that there has been new update. The process is the same. Just download the new file.

Does it crash at 16%? If yes verify integrity of the steam files. If it crashes out of nowhere, delete all the folders that the game has, reinstall, and try again. The issue could be from not downloading all the mods that you need (check if you got everything), or you accidentally put a folder somewhere where it shouldn’t be (that usually happens to me), or there were mods that you used before and all these mods together break the game (delete all the mods you used before, I can tell you which are safe or not if you want, and try again). Let me know how it goes!

Yup that’s the next plan. Dragon Ball mod looks really sick and has moving cards which really interests me. I don’t have my pc right now, but I’ll see what I can do on my older one.

Did you uninstall card expander? The cards that are added with mods that don't belong to the regular game will disappear.

Thanks for letting me know about the link! I didn’t hear of this bug. Make sure you have all the mods needed to run this mod. You can also try verifying integrity of steam files. If you had any mods installed before this one completely delete your TCG folder and reinstall it from scratch so all the other folders get cleaned out. Let me know if any of it helps!

Did you delete all the folders from the game before installing the mod? Sometimes bunch of different mods mix up over the period of time and break the game. This can also happen if you try to install over and over again. You can first try to verify the integrity of steam files… sometimes it gets fixed that way

@@VACborn before adding the overhaul mod the game opens and all other mods work but after adding it the game crashes

Does it crash at 16% when loading into your game world?

@@VACborn the game itself doesnt start, when opened a white screen opens and nothing responds

Some of the mods don’t work together with this one. Try installing this mod first and then install the other ones (for example auto set price). Make sure you completely delete the TCG folder.

Thank you so much! I'm not an expert if you don't have Steam version, but you should have the same folder for TCG game like I do. Do exactly the same steps like I am doing, just ignore when I am talking about Steam.

I don’t know anything about steamdeck… however, I know it’s possible. Try looking for tutorials specifically for steamdeck and maybe it is similar in installing this mod. I know steamdeck is running Linux instead of Windows and that could be the issue.

When you try over and over sometimes the folders get messed up. Try deleting the game folder, it will clean up everything. Reinstall the game by verifying the integrity of steam files and start over. Make sure you have all the mods in the description. Be sure to put in BepInEx first, that’s the most important. Then put in all the mods and it should work. I think the issue is that you tried to fix it couple times and it broke the mod. Try it again completely from scratch and let me know if it helps.

This mod adds like 20,000 cards in the already existing packs in the game. I don’t know if any other mod could add booster packs and be compatible. You can try, but make a copy of your game folder just in case.

Never heard of cards being too big… did your game have mods before installing this one? Maybe they were uninstalled incorrectly and the mods are breaking each other.

Make sure you installed all the folders. Sounds like you could be missing Add Entirely New Cards Mod or ArtExpander. Also, when you open the game and press f1 BepInEx should pop up. Make sure you can see ArtExpander inside it. Let me know how it goes!

I solved the problem, thank you, but the names are written wrong on the ghost cards. Is there a solution to this? For example, Pidgey was written for Charizard.

Maybe you need to wait until the mod updates. I think you have to be missing something.

I just hopped in game and didn't have any issues. Try putting the mod folders in the game folder again and when prompted replace all. It is possible that some of your files were overwritten by the new patch. Let me know if it fixes it self!

That is a issue of the mod so far. They will probably fix it in the next update.
