As a part of the International Academic Conference 'Tracing Trajectories Reimagining Muslim Politics', the seminar titled 'Hyderabad: Post-1948' dealt with the themes of History, Culture, Memory, and the making of Hyderabad. It was an attempt to un-learn and re-learn from the history of Hyderabad, the formation of the muslim subject in post-nation-state formation of India, state formation, annexation, memory, and much more.
Dr. Faheemuddin Ahmed has completed his Ph.D. in Urdu from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has multiple papers published in reputed journals, relating to topics like Hyderabad, Deccan, Urdu, Women Translators, Quran, Iqbal, Azad, and others. He also has books published on different topics. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Translation, School of Languages, Linguistics & Indology, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, India.
