I'm going blind! This channel is about the progress, and what I'm doing to prepare. Then I will show how I do things and cope with being blind.

My Story:

In April of 2016, I had a detached retina in my right eye and had surgery to re-attach it. I was also told by my eye doctor at the time that my cataracts needed to be removed in both eyes and we'd take care of that after the eye healed from the surgery. Well, I have since lost my health insurance and because I haven't had a job in 2 years, no money to pay for it. So, it looks like I'm forced to go blind. My right eye is now completely blurred. All I see is light. I can't even see my hand in front of my face when looking through only that eye. The left is perfectly fine yet, and has always been my good eye anyway, but It may be the same way in just a few months and definately by the end of this year. So, the waiting game begins.
