Johnny had a very personnal style with an awesome lift for dancers with a strong technic of vibrato . These tunesate in his solo recording sitting in dan oconnel pub Also a Big Big tribute is the Book " JOHNNY O LEARY of sliabh luachra " edited by Terry Moylan with 348 tunes from Johnny .. It would bé great for traditionnal music if original recordings still exit ...

Lovely music, Well done,The three polkas that were done on the piece with Donal Murphy on the 16th February 2019 were so brilliant, Steve Cooney once said that Kerry people love the hard hitting type of polkas , These were outstanding
