THESE ARE NOT ODDS THEY ARE FACTS.. I MAKE VIDEOS TO HELP PEOPLE. YES ALL CARS HAVE ACTUATORS. BUT THE LAST 4 GMC TRUCKS THAT CAME IN ALL 4 LEAKS WERE FROM THE CONDENSER UPPER DRIVER CORNER. ITS A COMMON PROBLEM. TAKE IT FROM AN AC TECH. VETERAN. I HAD TO CHANGE THE POST. BECAUSE I READ IT WAS 2015 TO NEWER. 2014 GMC CAME IN SATURDAY. AND THE SAME ISSUE. IT WAS FUNNY TOO. CUSTOMER SHOWS UP AND SAID WE CHANGED THE SHRADER VALVES AND I LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND DONT SEE ANYTHING. I SAID COME. I SHOWED HIM MY VIDEO. AND THEN WE WENT RIGHT TO THE GRILL AND SHOWED HIM. I NEW IT WITHOUT A DOUBT. HE WAS LIKE DANG! YOUR GOOD. I SAID MAYBE... BUT I WORK ON A LOT OF VEHICLES ,THIS IS MY 13TH YEAR INDEPENDENTLY, WHICH MEANS MYSELF AND I ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO DOES THIS AC WORK. SO IVE GOTTEN PRETTY GOOD.

Yes. Fan clutch has to be tip top shape for the AC to stay cold at a stop

What is upside down? Gotta also make sure the orifice tube goes in right too

​@mrpaulvoline1275 I do get some police a sherif departments that are not encrypted, and are phase 1 and 2 based on radio reference. I get traffics from everything almost. It's not the radio it's just the area you may be in. Man if you still got this radio go to my how program the whistler with Butel software. I bet it's just that, programming. Unless you already tried.

@juanpaulr yeah me too but it's not so much in Phoenix it's way far. Not even my area like in Queen Creek and stuff. I hear stuff so far away

@juanpaulr but if you look at my TH-cam channel, one of my latest makes was a raspberry pi and a little arcade box and I put Phoenix police on it works great

@@mrpaulvoline1275 it was my condenser this time . But the valve stems ends where stuck broken off in it. But after four hours I got them out saving the system

You flush the upper evaporator and it comes out the other end. It's got to be disconnected

@@mrpaulvoline1275 where do you disconnect it? Or does it come out where the orifice tube is?

@bradgold1751 You want to take the orifice tube out leave that area open. You're going to flush the upper area of the evaporator and it will come out where the orifice tube is. Usually get a extra bottle like a radiator coolant bottle. Put it under there and maybe an extra hose to stick it on and have it go into the bottle. So when you flush it it goes in the bottle. If not it's just going to spray all over the engine compartment

You definitely have to take the orifice tube out or the fluid won't go through right, It's just going to leave a mess

Very bad quality control,but yet still well better built than today's cars.

I used 1800 radiator flush. I bought the flush bottle on Amazon and used my air compressor to flush the evaporator. Then blow regular air for 5 mins to get that solvent out.

Lol! I have police scanners since my teens. But you ppl don't understand my city is more advanced than yours probably. My scanner doesn't get police here unless you have one of them $800 radios that have them extra digital frequency's. Everyone has something the say but just don't know. I read about the 1965 Chevrolet commercial with the Impala on the rock in the ocean. Apparently it was secured to the rock somehow with chains. Just how they did that I do not know.

If only the egos of the leaders of the companies had not taken over. .... Realistically, a don't think that anything could have saved Packard, Studebaker Hudson and Nash except a merger of all four. The only reason AMC survived is because they built a small, economical car when the public had need for such a car as a family's second or third car (grocery getter). AMC was innovative with a following for it's somewhat quirky cars.

Okay, possible that the Schrader valve is leaking. You can buy a little kid at your local parts store. Just be sure that you empty it out first before you open the stuff.
