Be careful with Sheba. Got the same kind of cat as you, male 4yrs old, got diagnosed with kidney issues. I’ve been trying to find a healthier food option for him in the meantime, until his vet appointment and prescription food, he seems to enjoy tiki cat with pumpkin in it, it’s what the employee suggested for us over Sheba which he had been eating for the last 4 years. The employee explained to me that Sheba is like us eating McDonald’s every day. Their cat was on Sheba until they switched because their cat had bad skin & fur health before the food change. Not saying my cat got sick from Sheba but definitely keep that mind if you want better brands. Each cat is different so up to you. 🫡

Maybe try another texture or consistency there’s plenty of those or you can try different meats as well there’s different flavors you can also add some thing like broth make sure that is low on sodium and things like that it’s just natural and you can also add freeze dried chicken or salmon or whatever you want to it
