"Bhumibol Maharaj" or "Bhumibol the Great" is a tribute song dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX), composed in honor of the grand royal ceremony celebrating the King's 5th cycle birthday anniversary (Ratchamangkhalapisek) in 1988 (B.E. 2531). The lyrics were written by Sakkasem Hutakom, a renowned writer who used the pen name Ing-Orn, while the music was composed by Mongkol Amatyakul.
