I recently moved to Florida and am Volunteering as an oline coach for a great private school. They run the spread which is different than what I'm used to. After leaving the Spartans I went to 2 other schools and actually went to the shotgun dw and had real good success running that.
I am sorry but this video hurt. I love the double wing and I would be embarrassed to post this. Your line isn't getting off the ball, your pullers are jogging. Your success was because of great backs. The play starting at around the 6:00 mark, you have 4 players standing there watching the play (one after he whiffed the block) while three or more are jogging over to see what is going on. Terrible effort.
Agree in a way (backs were great), but they had 14 players on the roster. Every kid is going both ways + special teams basically. That's not easy to pull off. I have much respect for the coach and players for putting forth that effort every week. Especially for the linemen who are forced to play both ways. Position players can handle that workload easier. Big guys, that's a lot to ask. So yes, I'm sure there's plays they just don't have the ability or energy to get out and do their job. Still, very impressive.
The defense knows exactly what is coming and there’s nothing they can do to stop it. How frustrating can that be
number 64 on Oline....the Landslide...reminds me of the big kid in Remember The Titans who got the scholarship and was so proud...🙂
Good stuff coach.
Love it . Them guys are talented
How are you holding up coach with the DW?

You need to add your signature soundtrack to this video!

God, number 70 is just the greatest player of all time. Sucks they put him on line; he runs a 4.6 40yd time.
#24 is a beast hell of a runner
#8 is clearly better. dont @ me
Couple of years, I have been running this offense. Makes us competitive, and makes me hated but I have yet to get it this level.
