I would also recommend going to an army to serve in Ukraine-heard it will help you to feel like a man. A lot of men are dying trying to escape the country, so you can help them out and it will boost your confidence as well!
I‘m a trans guy and I also realised at like about 12 or 11 years old and it’s such a difficult thing to navigate, at least for me, mainly due to other people hating on you when you come out purely because of who you are and you’re just never sure who might be unsupportive (and also dysphoria is a b*tch ofc but yeah) It’s so nice seeing somebody who is, yeah sure older than me, but still like realised around the same time and had like similar experience as well as watched similar TH-camrs and stuff, it’s really nice (I’m 15, almost 16 lol) Edit: forgot to say that somehow but you sound really kind, like your voice and how you talk sounds so so kind and chill
Dude, I relate so much to not being accepted by your family, you look and sound so kind and cool:)
aww you are the sweetest, hope things get easier for you with your family 🫶
What does it mean to "be a guy" and how did you realise you were one
When I was a teen (in the 90s) nobody really knew about trans people, no one talked about being trans, no one thought they were trans. I used to dress as a boy, a tough guy. I had genderdysphoria, but I did not know any words for my feelings. Internet was just on the rise. At 19 (Im 39 now) I searched online for answers, I didnt know what was wrong with me, I was always a boy when with my boyfriend or girlfriend, I would have a boys name (still do). I basically roleplayed with them that I am a boy. Well, so when searching online when the internet got more advanced, I found information that shook me, there were some questions and it turned out from that psychological thing I read, that I am trans. My psychologist who specializes in trangenderism has diagnosed me, she says Im definately trans. When I was 21, I had made the decision to transition to a guy, fully! GOD am I glad I didnt!!! Its taken me years to accept and love myself as I am. My body is intact and healthy. When You get older, you appreciate your health more. I am still trans, and that will never go away, but Ive learned how to navigate being this way. I sort of live a doubble life. To strangers, I am a woman. The people closest to me know the truth. Almost all of my friends are queer, so I have support. I am worried for the generation today, because they transition so early. Something that cant be undone. You have to remember, you will never physically be a man. Testosterone is very bad for you, it shortens your life. Regret is a horrible thing. You seem very young, I hope this is the right thing for you, I really do. Being trans is not easy. I wish you all the best. You seem like a very nice guy.
hi! so I will genuinely want to kms if I do not get gender affirming care in the next year, you may be able to live like this but I would rather die. hope this helps! :)
@@bigloserGymSocks I understand you. I was literally there myself, and sometimes I still can be in that mindset. But now, it's either death, or accepting what I do have. I personally would never risk losing feeling in my lower region and become a castrate. You can be a man without risking all those complications. I hope you have watched as many videoes as you can on the topic of regret and the topic of complications after surgery. Please don't trust doctors. I have lived with this for 29 years, I have truly looked into my options. I have also dived deep into the horrors of the medical system. I hope you realise what the results look like, and that there most likely will be very many serious complications and chronic discormfort or pain that comes in different forms. Are you willing to live with a terrible outcome if that will be the case? If they scar and/or disfigure you for life, are you able to accept that? Can you live with it? Can you assure yourself, that if you can't go to the bathroom properly, can't enjoy being intimate with your partner, can't get a partner, might be in severe pain (become addicted to painkillers) etc. Can you assure yourself you won't want to K-yourself? Are you willing to risk it? As a fellow trans person, I just want you to think it through, I don't want you to be hurt by this in the future. Removing your breasts and taking hormones is not as serious. Bottom surgery is a whole other level. I am not trying to discourage you, I just want you to be prepared for what might happen.
@@bigloserGymSocks Btw. you're already handsome as is :) - please be careful.
@@marti5183 testosterone gives you effects that come with having body on a higher testosterone levels, which includes slightly shorter lifespan and being more prone to certain conditions; just as cis men are. So no, obviously hormones won't let you just pick and choose just things you want xDD It's obvious. So it's stupid to use this shorter lifespan thing to scare people away. WE KNOW and we don't care. Because guess what? Many of us will happily and gladly live a bit shorter but happier and feeling genuinely ourselves than longer but miserable. Hope that helps And also, if I happened to be born a cis man, I would already had the shorter lifespan effect so xDD what's the difference, genuinely. We don't want what high estrogen gives us. We don't.
I’m in the US and trying to get testosterone/having insurance tell me they can’t cover it whilst not providing an alternative is a shot through the heart. Gonna appeal this shit wish me luck😭
who is this chubby little Girl?
As someone who's come into their trans masculine identity in the past year and understand what that means for me, content like this is truly valuable. Keep on slaying king ✨
Best of luck with everything, I really hope your parents will come around and support you through this because it's so much easier then 🫂🫂 Fingers crossed!!!
Young people are too quick to make these decisions.
@marti5183 he's not even that young 🤷 stop projecting and being blind to different experiences. Just because you chose to hide and believe that testosterone will not help you and not make you happy, doesn't mean others have to. Basic respect to others is to stop projecting your own experiences onto them. Others may want something different than you and that's okay
I'm nonbinary and starting T soon! I'm moving to be closer to campus for my online college. Plus I'll have more resources for both my career and my transition over there. I feel like I'm in a similar situation with not being sure how to tell my family about the changes that will be happening to my body. I feel like I'll just end up coming back to visit one day with that voice drop, but I'm not sure if they would bring it up or ignore it. Also I feel you on recording. In the middle of recording "crap it's been 30 minutes. Now I need to edit all that." And recording with other people around is so stressful! Hopefully it won't be too bad with my roommate. He’s the only person who knows I do that Anyway, good luck! It'll be so cool if you get to use youtube to help pay for your care
thank you for the comment!! so real for the recording thing! saw ur channel and omg you're doing so well, hope my video gets as much as urs that's crazy good!! T is super tricky to navigate with family tho totally agree, hope it works out for both of us :)
Of course! I love your video! My transition so far has mainly been internal, so it’s nice hearing about others’ experiences. I’m excited to see more from you :3
hell yeah brother love the necklace. always cool to see other trans guys talk about their experiences. good luck on your journey 👍
I randomly came across this but you seem awesome dude! Gl on the transition ❤
Love the hair, it literally looks exactly like how my ex bfs hair looks :((
OMGGGG I FOLLOW YOU ON TICK TOCK AND I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS ON MY RECOMENED
I absolutely love your videos. They really encourage me to come out. I love you so much you're so pretty 😍😍😍😭😭😭 I love Ezra Butler and NOAHFINNCE too ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like seeing how you're very happy and excited about something, yet HRT is something you'll have to do for the rest of your life, and trans affirmative care for minors is going to be dependent on government policies, and who knows if those policies are going to stay around long-term. But for the minors who already started on HRT, I hope it does. Because if FTM abruptly stops testosterone, they'll go into menopause no matter what are they are, and get osteoporosis. Not to mention the risks and complications involved from having any type of surgery, especially bottom surgery. And if you get bottom surgery, you likely won't be able to have biological children of your own, unless your genetics are cryogenically frozen, which can be expensive, but that's something you should think about. It's just that these are huge risks to take for anyone still so young, and if you get any long-term complications, you'll live the rest of your life (about 80 years) with them. I mean, I wouldn't wish that kind of life path on anyone, much less someone so young. I mean, females who transition to become transmen once they're adults still have great outcomes. But you know what, no matter what you decide in your life, I wish you the best of good luck.🍀🍀🍀
FTM's who abruptly stop testosterone don't enter menopause, because as long as you have your ovaries functioning they'll still make estrogen. So someone who stops would just be estrogen-dominant again
Keep it up man! I was in your position a few years ago and it only gets better, I'm excited to see where you end up
Subbing to you so you can get ur top surgery bestie
You’re so lucky that you were able to socially transition at an earlier age bro, my high school was so toxic and bigoted and my parents were ignorant when I came out so I just spent my teenage years up until I could be myself at 18 really depressed and suicidal. I’m so glad I didn’t end up succeeding in taking my life cos I never would’ve got to live as myself
I got people to call me Sam for a week back in primary school befor I realised trans people existed!
it makes me so happy to see fellow trans people on the internet :D
You're a girl. Get over it.
Hey, as someone who is a best friend of a trans guy. And who has seen how families change over time and get more accepting as health and love is more important than how you look, dress or want to be called. Give it time. They’ll come around :)
Ty 4 talking about this it rly helps ❤
the bad experiences with private healthcare sounds like gendergp. gendercare is DEFINITELY better. you pay for the first 2 consultations (diagnosis and endocrinologist) and estimated 95% of gps will do shared care with them. for the first 2 years you have a checkup (roughly £150) every 6-9 months and after that annually and then ofc standard prescription costs for testosterone (£9.90). so much more affordable in the long-term and no weird subscription/dodgy licenses like gendergp.
Im not sure if i am yet n my full youtube fy is full of this kind of vid hahaha
Your transition must be going really well, you look amazing! I hope you appreciate the hard work you do for yourself because it’s really encouraging and kind of enchanting seeing this video. I hope we aren’t too far from the next part!!
thank you sm that's very sweet!:)
Love the jumper dude! I cackled at "but I might just get my dads face.. And that's not ideal"
thank u I got it from my ex. fr tho my dad's a bit ugly🫶
Love your video! Doesn't just help the queer folks who haven't figured out things yet, but also everybody else understand the experience trans people make
so real! I love that everyone's able to appreciate it :)
Great video man! Hope uni's going well for you! <3
thank you so much!!<3
I’m trans too and I remember being in your position. Here’s what I can recommend whilst you’re waiting for medical treatment to help you feel abit more confident: men’s cologne; smelling more masculine helps boost your confidence. Minoxidil; it can help begin the growth of facial hair, it’ll start off as peach fluff but if you consistently use it then it’ll get thicker. But be mindful, it’s very toxic for cats so if you’re around cats or people that own cats you need to be extremely careful, do research beforehand if you’re considering this. Going to the gym; I know this is such a scary step and can be really intimidating when you don’t know what you’re doing. But finding a friend or someone to go with can help, most gyms will do an introduction session and show you all machines etc. There’s lots of free guides online for specifically trans mascs on what parts to focus on to help achieve a more masculine build. It can also help lots with dysphoria. Personally when I finish a workout I get such a rush of adrenaline and it makes me feel powerful. Getting started is the hardest part but if by the point you get on HRT you are consistent with it, then T will help massively! Cool video! Hope these tips are helpful in some way for you :)
these are actually really helpful!! I've been contemplating trying minoxidil but wasn't sure how effective/safe it was
My mum is similar she basically thinks I'm dead just cuz my name is noah now 😅
TransJoy will prevail one day
absolutely!!
I remember watch my life on cbbc and when the documentary on Leo came on I felt I could relate but I didn't want to really do anything about it until 2019 when I started watching more lgbt content online
Same❤ I've been out online on instagram and sometimes youtube since 2019 when I was 12-13 and my mum still doesn't accept me and always uses it against me like some disgusting secret.
I had a dream my transphobic mother gave me T😢
AHHH MOIIIILESSS
