😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome video, would be nice if we ever could see excursion trains again over the NYSW.
I know where it is!!! Your secret is safe with me!
That top flasher on the crossing by the tree is not working. It just flashes once while the bottom flashers are fine
georgette debuhr the top ones strobe, cameras have a hard time picking that up. Only the bottom flash.
It's a train
What time did it come through
AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! I loved this video. The train had an amazing horn, and this video was good with that crossing in the rain. I subbed. Keep up the good work.
Lol hi railroad productions
When was this taken?
How do you get back to this crossing? where do you park?
You don't park. You hike. I really shouldn't advocate this, but it is about a half mile hike in from the nearest road. This involves walking the RoW which can be dangerous too. Then on top of that, when you arrive at the crossings, technically, you are trespassing on the golf course's property. The road that gives you the nearest access is Sand Hill Road in McAfee, NJ. Once you park, hike about 1/2 mile east on the line through some backyards and shallow creeks to get to this spot. Don't spend too much time here; you'll stick out like a sore thumb. Get your shot, then go.
there is one in vernon too
Nice video Louis that new detector is cool..
Now that was a long train. Really hope that ambulance wasn't in too much of a hurry.
Great catch. Rare to see this train going so fast and over here at this time (it has to go thru a sharp curve near the yard wye)
Track speed through here is i 45-50 i think
Freedomtower Studios I’m not aware of any yard wye around here. I think you mean Sparta?
Awesome Video! Love the new crossing protection here.
Freedomtower Studios me too!
One of the longest I've ever seen that I remember. I know this was 12 years ago, but you do you remember what caused it (derailment, crash, trackwork, congestion, etc...)? Very nice catch, but feel bad for the ambulance. I am also trying for my first detour, soon I will get it I hope. -Don
Awesome Video! What camera are you using? Now i know where to go when its too dark to film the 99
+Freedomtowerman Productions It's actually the camera on my Samsung Galaxy S6 cell phone. I can't believe how crisp and well-lit the video came out myself. I'm sure the lights in the area helped somewhat, but I've shot here before in the dark and it was nowhere as clear as this one came out.
Oh god there was an ambulance stuck there! Still, great video!
do golf carts go over those tracks
Everyday - all day - during golf season.
Thanks for the kind words. There is actually a whole chapter in the new DVD devoted to "Before and After" shots of recently upgraded protection at various crossings along the line.
Awesome Video! I like how you got some of the crossings in Hawethorne and Franklin Lakes before they got gates. I also like how you caught the Hamburg Turnpike crossing at 1:58. I've filmed there a couple of times!
