I lived in woodgreen for 40 years on Clarence rd and myddleton road right by commerce rd it was great in the eighties and nineties and I was a security guard for woodgreen shopping city RIP Tyrone Who was stabbed on the basketball court in Columbus Road in the 80s he went to Alexandra Park School who joined up eventually with Crighton And became Fortismere

I grew up in Tottenham and its only when you leave the manner and come back that’s when you realise how hard knocks it is. As a kid growing up there in the late 80’s/90’s you had to know how to navigate them ends or you were definitely gonna be food for the older local bad boys.

I just watched an interesting yet sad documentary, about a young woman named Joyce Vincent who lived in a bedsit right above that shopping center, She died alone & no one even knew until nearly two years later. Very eerie story.
