Wrongly connected but engine start after rectifyeris burning i going to stop the engine.afer we are going to connect the correct way but self moter sound only coming.but wrong connect self moter start engine also start but correct way to connect is not working.what i going to to please give good solution

Great info! I searched this topic to clear things up in my mind. I have a decent understanding of how DC voltage behaves. My question is this: I understand power and ground is needed to complete the circuit, but what is the actual ground wire doing if the signal voltage is returning to the ECU. How come the signal wire cannot sinply operate as the ground, essentially, if the reference voltage is sent to the sensor, which is modulated mechanically by the sensor, and then go to the ECU. When the signal voltage is simply going to the ECU, what is the ground circuit even doing?

Never had any engine warning light show up on mine. Unscrewed the sensor to check for fouling, looked ok so reinstalled, hey presto, engine functioned ok with better response/acceleration and a smoother idle. I think the sensor had an "unclean earth" via it's rusted thread, presumably the unscrewing action had cleaned the thread thus giving a good earth.

I have a toyota camry 2018 se 2.5l I have misfire cyl 2. Code and also random misfire I believe p3000 I have new fuel pump and filter. New Injectors.. new spark plugs. swapped coils to check if it changes to different cylinder code. Checked leakage for valves. Good. Intake sensor good. MAF sensor is good. Haven't checked compression. But when I disconnect cylinder 2 while misfiring it doesn't change meaning seems that exactly still the area where the problem resides. All others (1,3,4) when disconnected cause it to misfire even more.. I do also get engine power reduced sign on dash. May my 02 sensor for any faulty reason possibly be causing my ECU to think it's running rich or lean and be causing the random misfire and the specific cylinder 2 misfire?? Without popping up a 02 sensor code on OBD 2 scanner???

3 all of mine have in all 4 terminals the 2 flat ones for black and white or blue or purple whatever wire color your mower uses to it

My stuff uses the solenoids with 2 terminals i do have 1 terminal solenoids but didn't wanna waste my time hooking that up when the 2 terminal is already hooked up

I have a ticking in my engine, it's 2014 Town and Country Van. I think it the lifter. I scanned the engine and it said cadlic converter need to be replace, and then it said sensor 1 PO 420, bank 1, and sensor bank 2 PO 430 needed to be replaced. When I start it up, I get the lights on the dash to light up like a christmas tree. Speacily when it's cold out and rainy, Not sure what that could be. But it's starting to drive me into det, lol Do you have any idea's???

If the O2 sensor detects no oxygen, it will add more fuel? That seems contradictory to me. Wouldn't a low/no oxygen reading cause the ECU to reduce fuel in an effort to attain a stoichiometric mixture?

What if, you install the rear O2 Sensor in an open pipe exposed? anyone has done this ?

With bad 02 sensor, the ECU is not misinterpreting signals. The ECU is correctly interpreting bad signals that come from 02 sensor.

I'm diagnosing a P0113 code on a G6 3.5 and looking for the pin with 5v. My choices are. Pin A MAF sensor signal Pin B Ignition voltage Pin C GROUND Pin D IAT sensor signal Pin E Low Reference Looking for the 5v at the wire connector end to rule out a bad PCM. If I connect a multimeter, black lead to ground and red lead to 5v pin if I get no volts is my PCM bad? Is this test done KOEO? Thanks for the video.
