Guangzhou does not snow cause it is located in southern China in the subtropical climate zone. The coldest weather will be in Jan and Feb which is around 10°C to 15°C (50°F to 59°F). Places that snow in China will be located in the northern part like Harbin, Beijing, or mountainous regions. :)

It depends on the age of your son, for non-Singaporean children above 7, they will have to pay the standard adult fare. Thus, you need to get one ezlink card for your son too. :) Hope this helps.
