Just did a review for this myself. I hadn’t rewatched it in years. I loved it as a kid, but not so much now 😂 With that said, there’s a nostalgic element there for me that I really enjoy. I wish the story felt stronger and that I felt more emotionally tied to the narrative as it plays out. Too many lulls, though I enjoy quite a few of the performances and I’ve always enjoyed how the visual effects look, for the most part. It’s definitely dated and some of the effects aren’t great, but an enjoyable watch that’s definitely cheesy and not great, but fun to watch from time to time.
