Making changes to this jump

In this video I re-shaped one of the jumps in my backyard. Unfortunately, I didnt get any video of riding the new re-worked area, so the riding footage at the end is from an earlier date. I promise to get better with the filming/editing/storytelling. Thanks for watching!

This feature will teach you how to ride very quickly!
มุมมอง 2022 ปีที่แล้ว
This feature was designed and built at the Fair Oaks bike park, just outside of Sacramento, CA. The park's idea is to help beginners progress on specifically designed features that mimick real world riding, but in a safe, low consequence setting. This feature mimicks a wooden skinny, but it's wider to help gain confidence, and learn faster. It goes up, down, left, and right. Its the perfect fea...
Building a weird wooden feature mid jumpline
มุมมอง 2092 ปีที่แล้ว
We had some left over wood and an old abandoned fence post right where the trail goes through. We decided to use the post to our advantage and build a tweaked "oppo boner log" using the scrap wood. T the wiser really made this video and build flow like a dream with his song "Let go of fear" check him out if you havent already. soundcloud.com/tthewiser/let-go-of-fear
Building bike ramps in this backyard!
มุมมอง 8522 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video we went back to our clients backyard to add a sweet new trail. We added a drop in into a wood kicker and whale tail, and applied soiltac stabilizer to strengthen the surface in the severely dry California conditions. We'd rather spend time digging and riding than editing our videos, which is why we kept it raw with this edit. Hope you enjoy!

#ProDirt #backyardbikeparks We built a 30' BRIDGE out of i beams for MTB!
มุมมอง 2112 ปีที่แล้ว
Trail building is fun! Here's a super brief video to show the construction process of building a bridge out of steel. We recently drove to Austin, TX from Reno, NV to throw in 3,500' of singletrack. There was a river bed/ravine running straight through the middle of the area. The only solution was to install 2 bridges.This bridge has a span of 30' and is designed similar to bridges you drive ov...

    😊 Hey, thank you so much for this video! I'm pretty new to SketchUp, so there were a few things along the video that I thought, what button is he pushing exactly? otherwise, it's pretty awesome!!

      @prodirt5265 awesome! I've been asked to design a pump track in a 265 ft by 65 ft drainage basin. What are the best extensions you've come across that are ideal for pump tracks? Any thoughts?

      @@mikemahana6542 u nas najlepiej działają górki w odległości 2,80 m. Ważna jest szerokość górki, jej wyprofilowanie do fali. Banda to 1/2 koła, bada zaczyna się i kończy górką. Banda w promieniu 4-5 metra👌

    What do you recommend for spacing between rollers?

    • @prodirt5265
      @prodirt5265 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      11.5 - 13 feels about right for more compact Pumptracks, you can go longer spacing if you have a bigger area and more speed.

    Based on the videos, it looks like y’all do awesome work. Please consider this feedback: Your channel would garner more views and grow faster if you would show someone riding the final build. The builds are enjoyable to watch, but it’s a huge let down not to see them being ridden. It’s like getting your favorite toy as a kid, but you can’t open the box to play with it! All the best!

      @prodirt5265 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the comment! I agree with you 100%, and we will try harder to get riding footy in the future vids. Its a little tricky spending too much time behind a camera when were on a paid project, as we feel it may look bad from the clients prospective to make filming our priority, but thinking about it now maybe the clients will enjoy having a dialed video of their project. I guess we'll just add that to the contract from now on, so it doesn't look bad on our end. We appreciate the recommendation!
