Budget Bathroom Refresh / Makeover - DIY Mid-Century Cheap Guest Bath Renovation
มุมมอง 4852 ปีที่แล้ว
We recently purchased a 1964 mid-century home. It has a lot of rooms and square footage so we are trying to slowly tackle the upgrades on a budget so it doesn’t quickly become a money-pit! We decided to redo the downstairs guest bathroom as the first project and it turned out amazing! I will link everything below but we actually kept the price way below $1000! (Not including the tools I already...
Casper Element Mattress - Can cheap and easy be any good?
มุมมอง 1.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Spoiler alert - I love this mattress! We slept on this mattress for about two weeks while we are in the process of moving between 2 places. It is super affordable, quick to set up, and depending on where you live, you can get it delivered overnight! You just can’t beat the convenience and the price. I’m used to a fairly expensive mattress at home and I truly couldn’t tell a difference sleeping ...

This might be crazy but I was scrolling youtube and saw my truck! I bought the truck in this video a year or two ago from someone in Tampa!!! So wild to see it just scrolling the internet at random. As for an update on the old girl, she had a name change. Her name is Mable. Im swipping in a bored out 7.2L 400m into it. Built to make around like 400-500hp. As well as putting in a C6 trans till i can swap it to a T5 or T6. I put new 15" American racing wheels on it with some 33x12.5 A/T tires on it.

We've got the same screen and I ended up adding grommets to the bottom and sides to secure it better when hanging between two trees so it doesn't blow around with wind. Worked perfectly and learned adding grommets isn't as hard as ide thought it would be. On the top I also cut little holes on either side in corners and pulled through a nylon rope with a saftey pin all the way through the top part where the grommets are and just scooted it around those to pull through all the way, that was the most brilliant idea I've had in a while cus it really helped this sorta cheaper type projector screen..oh wow that's funny yep our projector looks dang near identical...your speaker is though way better than what im using I just brought out my old wired pc speakers and connected those since there's two it sorta works like surround sound lol. Also what helps so you can play a video right at dusk, is setting the screen up inside a canopy with one side taken down to view through, it makes it so the screen is in almost total darkness and way more visible a more earlier movie kid time, lol, so us adults can still have our evenings to ourselves,lol...selfish Mom me I guess idk lol.

You know what? Not alot of women would go up to roof like that. So I'm proof you for going up there. 2nd you tried and that's exactly what you need to do is try and do things your self and that's how you learn how to do things. You learn as you go. Thank you for the video I'll give it a 👍

My guy charges 100 bucks. Its maintenance like AC but probably like every 2 years. My appliance guy came out because my dryer would not heat. He took it apart and the heating coil bracket had gotten so hot it snapped in half. He came off the rook with something that looked like a birds nest. He called a guy to clean it for 100 bucks. So much more safe sister. I am older and I am soooo happy you pit this up. Mine is fine but I wanna clean it and save the 100 bucks. I say people saying to go from the inside. So, your video probably saved my life. I am also a woman. Good job with this thing. Sure helped me.

It’s unfortunate the original installer didn’t use cement board or some wet-rated barrier because this is often why tiles crack due to the expansion/contraction of soft surfaces like drywall. My installer years ago did the same thing and an entire row of tiles cracked down the middle. When I removed them, the drywall behind was in pretty bad shape letting moisture behind the tiles, which inevitably froze in the Chicago winters putting pressure on the tiles.

I know this is an old video but thought I’d still ask. If I wanted the entire wall smooth (above your beautiful job) can I add the plywood every where on walls or would that look odd? You’re the only video I’ve seen where the entire room is done, just what I wanted to see. Thanks, great video! Oh and do you think how you did this, do you like it or do your eyes go to the textured areas? Thanks again

Wow!, I don't need more stress in my life. I'll just call around for a good price for a professional, and then "watch to see how HE/SHE does it" in order to determine if this something I can tackle myself the next time around.
