The tune is like a familiar children song with English lyrics that goes this way... My hat, it has three corners. Three corners has my hat.... The rest I forgot hahaha. But I used to sing it in school as a kid. So the music came from Carnivale de Venezia. Wow, interesting find.

I am filled with NOSTALGIA as I revisit this site-----the intensity of the youthful CYO musicians, the commitment of their leader Prof. Rey Abellana, the spectacular combined Cebu choirs, the sincerity of the Guest Conductor, and last but not least, the enthusiastic support of the GREAT AUDIENCE and our BENEFACTORS-----all these make one think: YES, all our sacrifices as musicians bring joy to our audiences, to each other, to ourselves. YES! WE MUST GO ON! Bravely in tune, and in step. ALWAYS!!! :-)

What a memorable experience this was, performing RACH 2 with CYO, Prof. Rey Abellana and guest conductor Maestro Hans Horsch Backer. B R A V O ALL! ! !

I am deeply honored and truly privileged to perform Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 2 with this wonderful CLASSIC YOUTH ORCHESTRA (CYO) from Cebu under the able and inspired leadership of its founder, our marvelous Prof. Rey Abellana.
