What exactly is the difference between E Major pentatonic - open position scale --and E Phrygian open position scale --?? Are they the same ? or can you show any difference in scale notes ? Now I am totally baffled ! One instructor says they are the SAME ????

How can I use this scale on Spain (Chick Corea) solo? Should I use the D major scale or the Bm scale?
How did you practice touching only the strings with the pick where you press with the finger? I still hit other strings :/ Thx for help :)
