I would try it again and see if it goes back to how it was out of the box or corrects it to how you want it to be. It may need to be repeated two more times. If that doesn't work there may be an issue with the device UI and customer service through the web chat will get you sorted with a replacement!

Yes, I've already repeated it a few times. Unfortunately, it stays that way. Double click for strobe or triple click for strobe. But unfortunately the turbo remains deactivated. I'm already in contact with olight, and I can't imagine that the change has led to the turbo mode being permanently deactivated. I'll keep you updated.

@overtax very odd, I've never had an issue with it removing Turbo or strobe either way with a dozen or so lights I've changed in hand.

@kevingetrich this model is brand new and all lithium batteries can vary in life expectancy. But from other lights i have multiple that are over 2 to 3 years old and nowhere near the need of replacement. I would guess that 4-5; years for how most people woulf use/charge them would be a good ballpark.

@roar1597 I was given mine at ShotShow 2024 in Las Vegas. If you are active, positive, and helpful in the Offical Facebook group you have a chance to get one randomly sent. They also come up for sale from time to time on there or on ebay etc.

@@Origin_Sphere there are some models with that charging port. The rest with this style have usb a cord that can be taken if you need to travel and charge. But I understand the simplicity of charging everything from the same cord.

Proprietary charger is why I bought 2 Olight and stopped. That limitation severely affects usability and convenience of a flashlight that’s meant to be used often and everywhere.

@DucNguyen-so2jc I would consider looking into the options available with USB C. There are several options and from time to time adapters to work with existing USB C charging cables so they can be used with the others that have the magnetic chargers.

@@LRoyOutdoors yes but not with the same form and function. the ultra with a usb-c is what people want, I've seen tons of others saying the same thing

The batteries are the same regardless of being user removable or not. The rechargeable and non end user serviceable lights such as this one are arguably less wasteful than one with a removable battery. These would have to be replaced by Olight/the manufacturer, who would recycle/dispose of them responsibly. A typical consumer would likely just toss the battery in the trash when it stops working correctly.

@HelplessTeno i do agree with the lense upgrade I made sure to include that info in there and did a short about it to try and increase knowledge/awareness about it. It's a fantastic upgrade and I have no clue why they haven't highlighted it more!!

I love this updated version! Great job on the unboxing! Thanks to you anyone who watches this will know immediately how to use this item! It is definitely fun and beautiful! I saw a comment in the Facebook group that suggested that we could not charge the Sphere via the O’buddy astronaut body. Just wondering if you’ve tried that? You also mentioned that they’re great to take camping. I have found using a hook with a magnet on the bottom or the Olink is great. They’re also handy to keep in a car for emergencies to help other cars. See you better. I believe I read that others have set these up with the Obound, so they could use it in connection with Alexa. So many wonderful fun options.

@@LRoyOutdoorsyeah, I almost overlooked it. I like the shape and size - won’t roll off surfaces and compact. But I think I’m really going to love the moonlight setting.

@smtmercer the moonlight setting is nice. It works/is included with pretty much any of the flashlights above the "i" series!

@TriniPhotoFan it is possible but they tested different material and designs for over a year. If it does happen to yellow they have a lifetime warranty and great customer service.

@jeffstephenson4156 they did a couple runs during the Ofan Day sale and they are currently out of stock. They have teased that it may be coming back but maybe with a different light featured on it 🤔

@@LRoyOutdoors it should still be on the website like all the other “out of stock” items though. I even did a search on the website and app and it didn’t even pull it up. Maybe it’s only in certain regions.

@jeffstephenson4156 it was under the preferential zone so you can only access it from there. If you log in, click on your account, click on loyalty program, then scroll to the bottom it shows up in the section with all the coins. It shows out of stock and at least at this time it does not have a restock time frame.

@@LRoyOutdoors I just got the Pro (in Red) yesterday. Perhaps they’re getting ride of old stock. No worries, after changing the UI. I plan on getting one for my wife and my one of my daughters. Perhaps their’s will come without the need for changing the IU. If not, no big deal, I’ll just change it for them if they so desire.

There are some smaller lantern style lights available as well as some flat work light thst would be pocket sized but unfortunately I do not have any to compare at the present time.
