I’ve seen a lot of people talking about the wolf and the lamb, but in the show arcane she has a daughter named Mel who was in a building that was bombed and not only survived but was completely unharmed. I have a theory that she was fighting the wolf not to save herself but to save her unborn child, so Mel was born invincible and can’t be harmed.

I think the reason why the other games don't have as much of an impact and crowd like LoL is because they don't have a single person carrying the game's brand for 11 years straight as an icon like Faker. Faker is the reason why millions follow LoL and even why many players dream to go pro.

I read the general lead choreographer of this whole opening ceremony was the same guy who did Olympics 2012 London and other BIG stuff, Danny Boyle, Riot really put in the right guy. They deliberately wanted to make the show feel immersive for BOTH the Live Audience as well as the audience online, unlike the previous Worlds Opening Ceremonies ever since they started using their AR or CGI tech, which is only really immersive for the online - audience. This was an insane Opening Ceremony, prolly the best I have seen ever since I started watching back in 2012. Great reaction btw brother +1 for trying to set the mood with dimming the lights and remembering the League cinematics!

This worlds broke the live viewership record for all esports events at 6.94 Million live viewers (beating its own record from 2023 worlds at 6.4 million) and that's excluding chinese viewers. CDL's live viewership record is 440 Thousand. Other games can't do this because they don't have the same revenue, or the viewership. League, riot games and worlds is just more prestigious, clouted and watched that even the mainstream and these huge musicians like Linkin park, Lil nas X, New Jeans, Imagine dragons know about it now and want to perform for it. Linkin park aint gonna perform at the cdl, neither are they gonna have the budget to have the production value that riot games has. And it's all because League has this many viewers, fans and players that they can pull this off. I feel like so many non-league players talk shit on the game becuase they just don't understand it or they're jealous that their favorite game doesn't get as much support, love or players, but you gotta give respect where its due its the biggest game in the world by far whether you like it or not... And the wolf showing up (similar to the instance with Tryndamere in the Still Here cinematic) is part of Kindred (Lamb/Wolf) as Ambessa has a near death moment. The being that gives her the power up in the vision is the other part, Lamb. (although all the champs in this video are wearing the new skins they are releasing so Lamb is red instead of the blue/white like in the Still Here cinematic.) Also would definitely love to see you react to Arcane on the channel!

The wolf is one of the two aspects of death in Runeterra, the Wolf And the Lamb. Ambessa was at deaths door which is why the Wolf came to her. It looks like instead of killing her outright it was testing her for some reason and fright as she was about to pass the test (and probably also die) her child who has magic (probably Mel) revived her.
