Both times in the truck. In the 70’s i had a chopper and i couldnt go anywhere without gettin stopped by the cops. he stopped us in a really dangerous spot and when i left i never battened down the hatches properly . Lost my wallet and a bunch of cash. i crossed Canada once when i was a kid and rode thru the rocky mountains it got cold at altitude and the carbs got wonky on the downsie but luckily no rain 14 days 16,000 klm. keep the rubber on the road JT

I had the same problem with my 07. However, it may not always be the fuel filter. Mine had a new filter in it I installed a month before. The problem with my 07 Royal Star tour deluxe was that the fuel pump was not working properly. The fuel pump has points and they can get dirty and need to be filed. That will solve that issue. The bike will still get fuel like in your case, but it won't pump enough to pressurize the system at highway speeds so the carbs can get the needed fuel amount.

Thanks for this. The only piece missing is that you did not say what was the problem that you were actually having. Was your clutch slipping or was it dragging or ? I have an old venture royale: early version of same engine. I am having problem with clutch slipping when I am driving and I give it lots of throttle to accelerate. I think the cause of my slipping is the slave cylinder. So I will take that out and check it.

Hey thanks for the video. I have an RSTD so this might help with my clutch. Just watched another vid where he suggested that zip ties on the bake are fine but ties on the clutch are hard on the clutch plates. Thanks for your work on these issues.

Looking good. I have the ROyal Star Venture and I am looking for a way to fill the gaps between my saddlebags and fender. They used to sell filler panels for this model but I can't find a set anywhere. I also like the CVO fender tip. Very nice. I may have to see what I can do similar to what you did.

One thing I live about these bikes is the exhaust is symmetrical from side to side. Two pipes on each side. Obviously, it's a function of being a V4, but still looks awesome. 👌 Better than the MoCo in my opinion.

Guy on facebook is selling one but his Runs and drives but according to seller "One of the intake valves on the front cylinder are sticking and not fully making vacuum so it does not 100% have all its power." There a website that can rebuild your front cylinder but what do you think. He is asking $1500 but i brought down to $1000. 07 brute 750. What do you think?
