god damn this game was so good, its got some jank to it that just can't be replicated anymore. I really wish gundam crossfire wasn't an incomplete game. I'd argue its a pretty decent successor to Zeonic front.

You've got to keep the enemy in the lock on square. During your fight with abyss when you were going wild with grenades, half the time you didn't even have him targeted. You can try larger shorter range FCS to help with that. Don't forget you can also get the SOLID shell EO core, to give you additional firepower in brute force trades like that, the additional heat can put the enemy in a 0 energy situation, which is what happened when you beat him. With no energy to dodge, his AI prioritized the ECM maker, to try and make you miss. don't forget that just slowly backpedaling with the tank, will encourage the enemy to move towards you in a straight line, making them easier to hit

despite the rushed introduction of the lost AI elements, I think the ending cutscene with the hoard of unmanned explosive drones is very cool. (less cool and unique though having seen the mirage attack on you earlier, a mission I don't remember encountering on my run) I think it would be worth you playing in free mission to try out some of the missions you never got to experience during the main campaign. Also, the game you're talking about playing next "armored core 9 breaker" has no missions, it is comprised of like 100 arena battles and little weird mini-games that are "training exercises" and I didn't end up getting that far in it because of that. I would recommend that rather than trying Nine breaker, you try playing the other disc of nexus "Revolutions" which according to the description allows you to try out, and experience various missions from older games in updated and reimagined ways. (I don't remember playing it) If you like Ninebreakers arena only schtick though, more power to you XD. Looking forward to more armored core with you regardless.

Hey orange! I found out something that you might be interested in testing/trying on your next stream. This may be kindof a long message. Ok, I have been playing through the armored core games along side you, ever since I started watching your armored core 2 videos, I caught up with you during silent line, so I started nexus now to move through it together. You are using save states, so you probably haven't seen this, but IF you save IN-GAME, the game will tell you something like: "when saving, only some information is saved, so make sure you use the QUIT GAME option when you are finished" Thats nothing new, the souls games all say that, and usually its tracking little things like changes in currency level or ravenpoints or something. BUT I lost one of the arena missions, and when I loaded my save, while the arena mission was still there, IT WAS A DIFFERENT ENEMY! A DIFFERENT RAVEN! This means that the game is tracking... something? behind the scenes and shifting mission enemies. This makes sense because I have seen several missions that didn't even show up for you? like one where I got attacked by 2 AC's (which sucked, I did not beat it.) but that means that loading the IN-GAME save after a failure, can still somehow effect the flow of the game! ---------- *I noticed you haven't tuned a single part, but the tuning mechanic is a very potent boost to your play.* **note** part tuning is not reversible, BUT if you want to reset the part, sell it, it will refund the cost of the tuning as well, then just buy it again and re-tune. **note** parts tune best to what is their "weakness" allowing you to create more balanced parts. I tried running an energy build, and it works perfectly well in general, but against AC's and high heat threats its really dangerous because overheating will shut off your energy as you discovered. This leaves you not only overheated, but also unable to boost or shoot. So, against AC's I'd go solid shell. ------------ you can choose between two generators that will support your energy build without having switch to track legs: CR-G84P (tuned for max en output) (Tuned) output - 11,142 condenser cap - 30,000 OR KONGOH (tuned for max condenser cap) Energy output -11,888 (Tuned) condensor cap 19,300 **note** at maximum tune, the CR-G84P is only 746 lower output than the KONGOH, but has 10,700 more condenser cap (max energy). Because of this I lean towards the CR-G84P, which is safer during sustained flight and boosting. However, the KONGOH, has a good synergy with the CR-B81 booster, the super high output generator, with the super low charge drain boosters allowing almost constant dodges and bunny hops. --------------- The other major factor is your choice of boosters, I think you have been using the B01-BIRDIE boosters basically the entire game. There are 4 boosters that I think can work for an energy build. **note** despite being viable, the B02-VULTURE presents a high risk option, particularly in any high heat situation, as its already high heat can put you in danger of overheating. B01-BIRDIE (tuned for boost power) (tuned) boost power - 15,730 charge drain - 3,310 boost heat - 2635 **note** lowest heat of all the boosters I've listed, safe bet for AC combat while using solid shell weapons, while still being low drain for energy build. CR-B81 (tuned for boost power) (tuned) boost power - 15008 charge drain - 2337 boost heat - 3323 **note** lowest charge drain of all the boosters I've listed, also very light weight, this is what I am currently using. While the power isn't as good as the other options, its ridiculously low charge drain makes it a perfect fit for energy builds, this is what I'd recommend for you. B02-VULTURE (tuned for booster heat) boost power 17,300 charge drain - 3,650 (tuned) boost heat - 4,341 **note** even tuned for max heat control, these bad boys still get HOT, this is very dangerous, but their reasonable charge drain and extremely high power make them great at sudden bursts for dodging. B04-BIRDIE2 (tune at your own discretion, very balanced) Boost power - 15,900 charge drain - 3,940 booster heat - 3,778 **note** this model is so balanced that you can really tune it for anything, I'd say it gets the most out of boost power climbing to a zesty 16,665 at max tune, but you could still do weight or heat without any real loss. ------- I think the Radiator is the 3rd most important part with the crazy heat demands, and there's a lot of options, but I've narrowed it down to 4 I think are the best. (without including the super heavy, high energy drain one that's only really viable on a tank) **radiators are flexible, so while I will list them tuned specific ways to make comparisons, they can be tuned for whichever stat you need, with differing returns** R02-HAZEL2 (tuned for energy consumption) (tuned) energy drain - 1,373 cooling - 10,310 forced cooling - 11,510 R04-LAUREL (tuned for cooling) energy drain - 1,235 (tuned) cooling - 10,228 forced cooling -13,650 CR-R92 (tuned for energy consumption) (tuned) energy drain -1,542 cooling -11,455 forced cooling -14,400 **note** very high energy use when untuned, still the highest energy drain on this list, despite good weight and impressive stats this makes it less desirable for an energy build. highest baseline cooling on the list. RAGORA (tuned for cooling) energy drain -1,468 (tuned) cooling -11,332 forced cooling -17,100 **note** heaviest on the list, in my opinion the best of them, great base cooling, incredible forced cooling. ----------------------- Also I don't think you've really taken time to look through all the parts since most of them are the same as silent line, but there are some interesting additions like extensions that carry ammo, a nice money saving trick if you use the laser rifle ammo extension, and a laser rifle. It can pad out your arsenal for longer missions. especially on a bipedal, where canons are annoying. **note** just in general, the legs can be tuned for more maximum weight. The legs you're using LF02-GAVIAL can hold 5488 at max tune, an increase of almost 200. Core parts can be tuned to reduce weight, arms can be tuned for increased accuracy, heads can be tuned for weight, or ECM resistance. **NOTE** the weird firing delay you noticed, with gatling guns, machine gun, and grenade launcher is either "reload time" or "firing interval" if you look at the description for the gatling gun it says *must reload every 24 rounds*, and in its extended stats it lists its magazine capacity and magazine reload time. This seems to be applied to most automatic/rapid fire solid shell weapons. while the grenade launchers just have a much longer firing interval than they had previously, I believe. ------------------------ Hope some of this helps with the difficult energy/heat management! looking forward to your next video. hey, would you like to use the back weapons while moving? There's ways to do it in: ac 1 and I think phantasma, Ac2 and ac2aa, ac3 and ac silent line.

looking forward to the next installment. Silent line is such a good game. I have watched your video's from Armored Core:2, to Armored Core: silent line, and Started playing a few days ago to catch up with you. Did a full play through of AC2, AC2AA, and just started up armored core 3. Once you beat the game the credits roll, and I believe you are prompted to save. If you load in, you receive your reward part and it looks like nothing changed. But, a new area has been added a the bottom of the map with 3 extremely difficult missions. Without spoilering anything, they are nostalgic in nature, and due to the high difficulty you'd probably get 1-2 hours of play from trying to tackle them.

"Our lord and savior, grenade launcher" XD, I felt like this too! for a lot of this game I used the karasaway, a chain gun, and a grenade launcher. The chain guns are a ton of fun and very high damage as well.

I am laughing so hard watching you try to make it across the gap in the horwick mountains mission "destroy the radar array" or whatever. You've tried different legs so far but you haven't changed your generator, or tried to reduce your energy drain, or equipped better boosters. its like you think you can get across the gap by sheer willpower, and its cracking me up XD. You can do it croc!

I'm only half way through this video, you just beat super-sonic, but I wanted to address your confusion with the extensions. I am pretty sure you have to turn them on at the start of a fight or mission? It might be R3, or L3, whichever one is NOT your overboost.

Hey, you may know this already now, but the reason your missiles were getting stopped during the Pollux arena fight, is because of the "extension" part he's using, exactly as you hypothesized. Its a very effective missile intercept extension which I think is a late game unlock or hidden part.
