I just stumbled upon this while looking for Evermore animatics and this is incredible. I had never thought of Evermore as being a somewhat happy or bittersweet song, only one filled with longing. Your oc's expressions at the beginning kind of make it seem like he believes it's not an if but a when they'll meet again but then the reality of the situation sinks in...AGHH IT'S JUST SO GOOD LOL
