1975 GPO 746 In Two Tone Grey
มุมมอง 40ปีที่แล้ว
This is a quick lookaround of my 1975 GPO 746 in the two tone grey colour. The telephone is fully working and has an original amplifier on the handset for partially deaf people.

This typewriter was manufactured in June of 1957
This is great to see, I've spent a lot of time underground in kelton & knockmurtom iron mines but have only ever seen 1 photo of it from it's working days so this really helps put there life above ground into perspective for me 👌⛏
Ahhhh Lovely.
Well I never. One layout I never got to see as I was otherwise occupied at the time! Interesting to compate this with your current modelling and how things have changed but still excellent work. I'm envious of your skills.
I used masking tape, but you can use any other kind of adhesive tape: Sellotape, Parceltape etc.
The telephone in question was made by SPK and has a plastic base, although some telephones in 1975+ had metal bases; but this one has a plastic base.
Quite rare!
