A bit better weather, not much done except a lot of talking.
Visited a very large shopping centre with Hendrik.
The traffic here is chaotic at times and the roads are bad, crossing is very careful here, even on zebra crossings they will drive in front of you fl.......r, they have never heard of letting go of the gas or slowing down.
Hendrik had already paid without me noticing, he also bought shoes for the staff who work at the hostel. I would almost think he is the owner instead of the manager.
The staff had cooked and I had to join them too, while I was still full from breakfast, how are you going to explain that you don't eat that often and that much, so just a tiny bit.
Watched the Sunset from the roof of the neighbours and then stood for a while at Martin's, who is already sold out and therefore tidying up, talking as well as with the Grab drivers and parking attendants. Finally I have figured out, if the data is still correct, how I can visit the capital city that is under construction, so I am going to make the first attempt today, which may not work because it is Independence Day, it is done for the first time from this city at the same time from Jakarta.
The more I read about this city in the making the more surprised I am.
The city will extend to the provincial capital Samarinda, a distance of 120 kilometers and will be several times as big as Jakarta.
I am going to experience how they celebrate Independence Day in Kalimantan.

That is the cleanest ferry I have ever seen.
It took a while but the wifi is so bad in Kalimantan and also here in Sulawesi, that editing and uploading didn't work, because I was sick in bed for a while, I managed it. unfortunately in a lower quality. There are still a few videos coming that were before that time, but I think this is the most important, I will make the rest public as soon as I finish them. Hi I'm from Sandakan but you missed two another sites of the heritage trail when you just arrived at Jalan Istana. One was the Sandakan Massacre Memorial (Chinese Maytrers Memorial) and another was the Japanese Cemetery. Both the site were also part of the Sandakan Heritage Trail.
The Chinese I visit, but the Japanese, was to far walking for me because the hot weather.
