Creating a sense of place for students to thrive in any classroom is important. I strive to create a space where students can envision themselves feeling connected, seen, and thriving.
I hope when students think about my classes during other times in their day, that they are picturing themselves in the space, creating art, surrounded by other artists. An art studio at school. 😊
Next I need a lighting solution, because those old school halogens do the job, but they sure are harsh! And the millions of shadows they cast are not great either.
