Kolink Satellite Build - PSU and CPU Cooler Upgrade
Updating the power supply and CPU cooler of my Kolink Satellite build.
Yeah, the PSU fan was too loud ... and the CPU cooler was too big.

to put a non-modular power supply in this case ... its insanity ....
Warning, the hole pattern of the top mounting plate is not compatible with all 3.5" hard drives.
Very good video
Is that an ITX mobo?
good layout, bad ventilation, if only they copied the hexagonal style of ventilation from ssupd or velka, then this Dan A4 would be perfect.
excellence
What is the biggest matx motherboard size that this case fits?
none because you're not able to fit a 204mm motherboard in this case i hope that you got your answer when you needed
Excellent video! Really thorough, informative and well filmed.
can the ASRock H310CM-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard feet in it?
Yes as yours is an MITX motherboard 17cm * 17cm. I had old parts from an ATX case and managed to fit an Asrock B250-HDV which has dimensions of 22.6cm * 18.3 cm (MATX size but smaller that the usual size) with 1or 2 millimeter to spare with a full ATX PSU the standard dimensions. Cable management was a challenged but still managed to fit it all in.
@@yellowdaffodils21 I found by myself like 2 weeks ago thanks anyway
does this case fit normal size psu like atx?
Waiting for the next video and setup process, I'm loving' that build ~
Nice, I wonder if there is space for a front intake fan but I guess not.
Thank you.
Did you manage to use the adapter on the usb 3.0 port on the MB without getting in the way of the PSU?
Great and informative video! I only wish the case allowed for access to the PSU switch, when fully assembled.
Unfortunately the power button at the front has no built in LED for power or HDD / SSD activity. My Lian Li PC-Q16 has one.
Most useless feature ever
great video 😊
I was watching your video, while I was assembling my case. The powersupply I need to change too in a later state.
Really good video, thanks for sharing!
where is the CPU & GPU thermals ?
Hi. The CPU and GPU thermals will come in a future video. I am currently ensuring that the system is stable as I an under-volting it.
@@jaytinkers4881 Love to see that! I am a long time Intel user and finally ready to make the jump to AMD but confused by both the different "numbers" and the air-cooled thermal performance compromises that need to be made in this case. I have two of these running i7-6700K and i7-7700K, both with SF750 PSU and RTX 3080 w/ 10mm spacer and bottom mounted NF-A9x14 fans sucking cool air from the outside and blowing it over the GPU rear and PSU (the cases are suspended under a desk with good airflow on all sides...best on the bottom). Any suggestions on the current/mid-2021 highest end safely air-cooled AMD Ryzen CPU + motherboard + fan combo in an RTX 3080 w/ SF750 PSU setup?
Great video! You deserve more recognition with such high production value.
Thanks! I appreciate that! :D I am happy to see that you noticed I put some effort into this.
