Telas are coool! 🥴I am brainwashed!!!
Supercharging and FSD have little value unless you're going on a trip. For me, that's no offer at all.
Then take a trip!
@MeniTek one doesn't take enough trips to justify $8K for driver assistance, and that is really all "FSD" is. (And may ever be with Musk's lies, false promises and flawed approach. (Vision only))
- 1. I use FSD daily. Not for road trips, but for city driving. Because it’s now safer than human-only driving. Case in point: about 3 weeks ago FSD prevented an accident where an out of control car was headed to t-bone my car. I didn’t see the car because I was looking forward. But the 8 cameras saw the oncoming vehicle and immediately accelerated car with a slight right turn to complete clear the potential crash. All caught on my camera recordings. Also, traffic sucks, especially city traffic. That pain point is completely eliminated with FSD. -2. Vision only has already proven to be vastly superior to LiDAR and especially radar. Radar doesn’t see static objects and LiDAR is too slow, doesn’t see color, words, small details, and is absurdly expensive. Meanwhile vision has already solved understating the world around the car in rich, colored, detailed 3D. The only thing that needs to be completed for full autonomy is AI logic - not 3D solves. In other words the LiDAR issue is over: vision has already won. All autonomous vehicles will dump LiDAR/radar by decade’s end. -3: My direct experience with FSD in complex urban environments has it now at 99.9%. That’s not good enough of course, but its rate of improvement means it’ll achieve an order of magnitude better than human driving towards the end of 2025, or mid 2026 at the latest. And that’s autonomy that can be dropped in any road on earth, not select geofenced areas like Waymo. The more you know.
I really agree with your video, Apple needs more content on it, I watch 3D video on AVP app [NOC NOK], but I think there are too few apps
Cool!
I love this case! It looks way more worth it than the Apple case.
Looks super sturdy.
I can close the lid and travel without having to take the AnnaPro off.
I think Apple should seriously consider adding AnnaPro to their store
Cool, have the Anapro A2 in hand, and then Belkin is coming tomorrow, you're the first person who shows that you can use both. Great and simple reviews of both. Thanks!
Well ended up not liking this solution. The Belkin puts nearly all the pressure on top of my head which i found very uncomfortable. Anapro A2 is definitely the better solution if I even stick with the Vision Pro. This is my second time trying it out, bought on used market for $2K, but still having trouble finding value for it in my life. I wanted to try the Mac wide-screen feature, but even that is not really practical enough. For the most part its just a cool video playback machine that's too heavy and excluding. I have hope for the future has the hardware improves.
It perfectly fits my Apple Vision Pro.
Apple needs more accessory support, every time I watch 3D videos on the app [NOC NOK], my face always hurts
I recently purchased both. I have a silver color, but it’s fantastic. I love it.
Nice!
I do wish people would stop all this nonsense about 300+ mile ranges. A Tesla Model 3 Standard Range will do 170 miles on a full charge, going from 100% to 0%. If you charge between 30% and 80%, which you have to do to preserve the life of the battery, you have a real world range of 80 miles or so. Less when it's really cold.
The Model 3 Standard Range is no longer on sale. The base model now is the Long Range RWD, which does in fact get over 380mi real-world range on a single charge. This is important for road trips, where you do in fact charge to 100% before leaving (and often drain down below 10% during the trip). For daily commutes 30%-80% is way more than enough since you just charge nightly at home. Here's the video that proves the base Model 3's crazy long range: th-cam.com/video/S6rgzGizgaQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BPtz2ycYit91NMbC
@@MeniTek Not everyone has a home charger. In the UK, if you live in a flat, a terrace house, or a rental property, you can't have one. And experience has taught me that whatever the range a manufacturer claims, half it, and that's what you get. I'd have to try a Model 3 Highland to make a fair judgement, but it's real-world range will be nowhere near Tesla's claimed range. That I can be confident of.
@@matthewgodwin3050 Real world range is in fact higher than claimed range for both 2024 Model 3 Long Range variants (but not for the Performance). This is a departure from previous Model 3's, which did fall short. However that's still not ideal for people who don't have a garage. For those who live in apartments/flats, a compact EV that's lightweight and therefore takes less time to charge per mile is the next major step for mass EV adoption. That'll come in 2025 with the compact Tesla (dubbed 'Model Q' for now). This more efficient platform will allow quicker public charging, with a 300mi range - making it more than adequate for urban transport.
@@MeniTek Have you actually driven the entry level M3 Highland? Because if not, you're just speculating, and that's part of the problem. Too many people have been sold an EV on the back of overly optimistic claims, only to find out it's just not fit for their purpose. So they quickly put the car up for sale to get back into an ICE car, and the market is now flooded. This is why EV depreciation is so bad. I see countless EVs going through auctions with sub 1000 mileages, and nobody bids on them because nobody can sell them. The idiots on the Fully Charged Show have scared everybody off EVs with their blatant nonsense. The way to sell EVs is to be honest about their limitations up-front. For most people, it'll still fulfil their needs, so they'll buy it. Lie to them, and they'll just walk away.
@@matthewgodwin3050 I own a Model 3 Performance and absolutely drove the Highland M3 Long range RWD. Wh/mi was under 230 which was slightly better than epa range. This was with the 19” wheels. Everything else you mentioned is nonsense, sorry.
I don't think you're a big fan of Elon, good to see you're still a fan of Tesla. They are great cars
Yes to both points!
Ditch the music.
Lol
Great info!
How does the Annapro 2 compare to the 1? I thought the 1 was absolutely useless. You also didn't mention how it work without the gasket. The AVP with the knit strap is the most comfortable "VR" headset I've ever used. I think I have 9 VR headsets. I don't know why anybody would mod it as is. But I got the Annapro 1 to use the AVP without the gasket. It didn't work at all! The hard strap placement was so terrible it just kept falling down from the front. Even with the gasket, the pads were so big the AVP was constantly telling me it is too high. Even with NO PADS it tells me it is too high. I can't pull it down far enough to work. What a useless product. It would have been nice to hear if the 2 is actually any better. I'm certainly not wasting another $40+. I guess I'll just keep using the AVP with the knit strap and gasket, since that is the most comfortable thing I've ever experienced in an AR/VR headset.
Yeah, I shoulda mentioned in the video that I also tried the Annapro 1, and it didn't work at all for me. This second version is night and day.
@@MeniTek, thanks! That's good to know. Maybe I can give my v1 away for the cost of shipping. I'm not as concerned about the cost as having 2 pieces of plastic end up in the landfill.
Nice review. I need one ❤
I did not change the pad out that it came with, maybe I should, but the one it had on it seems fine, it is way more comfortable for pressure off my cheeks. Nice hack! Hmmm... The A2 makes it not fit in the Apple case, that is the downside....
I tried this one and found it to be only add about 45 min to the wear duration. Really wanted to like it, due to how it looks, but I returned mine since the comfort was too close to the Dual band. Great video!
That little belt for your head is $49?????? That’s ridiculous
Cool video Meni!
Now, I need one of these!
Informative!
Been using this for the past 2 days and I'm not gonna lie, my head hurts and aches way more than when I was using just the solo knit band.... am I doing something wrong?
I’d recommend tightening the strap only *slightly*. Same with the solo band. No need to over-tighten either strap since the weight is distributed more evenly.
Thanks, I think I need more cushion on the bottom from my bald head... lol..I think I will wait on AnnaPro...
Good point. The positive of a bald head is no messed up hair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@MeniTek haha... I was like oh to have hair like you... LOL...
In the Apple Store iOS app, it shows that it will ship around December 20th, 2024.
If you live in the US you can also order to pickup. Got mine same day, but I live in LA.
Amazing review pretty much all questions answers on reddit lol. I will be buying this strap!
Agree, Reddit's great.
Thanks for the video! Do u think that now u can Vision Pro for long periods? I mean, now it’s comfortable enough?
Yes, definitely.
Saying that there is no God, is narrow-minded and gets you a thumbs down, smh.
very nice video, perfect way to comment, hope you can post more vids like this one
Congratulations on your video, keep it up!
You lost a like and earned a downvote for this bullshit 1:04. When we don't finish watching you lose points too. Bye.
The best way to handle FSD's NHTSA stops is 'right foot supervision'. 👍
Did the car talk to you at the end of the video?
Spoiler alert: ⛪️ 🙏 🛎️✝️
Lol
Do you live by franklin from gta 5
Nice work 😊
Thanks:)
I just want to point out at about 10:25:00 you were messing with the map and the cyclist kinda popped out of nowhere literally right in front of you with no much space. FSD nicely stopped for you. had you been driving yourself you might have been startled and slam the break or maybe even worse hit that guy. I truly believe driving with FSD (supervising of course) maybe you a 10X safer driver. unsupervised the jury is still out, but it's getting there!
Nice drive! Where are you located?
Omg your music is horrible
FSD is unable to think or figure things out. What it did there it does whenever there's a long line of cars and then it tries to cut in front of at the last moment. It isn't what a safe driver does so we know FSD shouldn't be doing it.
You are right. FSD cannot think or reason or analyze like a human brain. FSD is a buggy Level 2 assistant, nothing like a human driver.
@6:12 It is not an LA move: it is a ILLEGAL move. There was a possibility that oncoming traffic could have occupied their left turn lanes resulting in an accident where YOU (not FSD supervised) would have been at fault. Please report these fails to Tesla so it can learn to never cross double yellow lines.
"Never cross double yellow lines" Is Incorrect because sometimes to avoid accidents you have to cross the line so you can't hard code it to never do that. Waymo has shown many Instances where It has had to cross the lines because of near crashes.
That was super good! Thank you for sharing! The cheat left turn lane shocked me, then pushing it's way through traffic! AI is at work!
Do you think FSD will solve driving by next year?
Possibly. Definitely by end of decade.
Solve driving ? How bad are you at driving that you need a system to do it for you. by the by, FSD won't 'solve' anything next year nor this decade Tesla's solution is about the worst there is and for a big part it's because it relies solely on a bunch of camera's where as the competition incorporate lots of other sensors (such as lidar, ultrasonics etc) The only ones that think Tesla FSD is the best are Tesla fanboys. It was level 2 back in 2017 and it's still level 2 today where as others have pushed way into level 3.
@@PDVismI personally use FSD during LA traffic to take away 95% of the low level stress. Still drive myself through twisty canyons and the race track. But the actual societal benefit of “solving FSD” will be twofold: robotaxis, and saving lives. Since over 1 million people die every year in car accidents caused by human error, autonomous vehicles that are safer than humans will save lives. Projecting the rate of improvement of FSD, this should happen by decade’s end. Regarding LiDAR, that technology is unnecessary. Camera-only sensors already work 100%. That part of the equation (understanding the 3D environment around a car) is actually already solved. LiDAR is too slow, doesn’t see color or street lights, can’t read signs, is too low resolution, and is prone to error. Also, it’s super expensive and adds weight and drag. Basically that tech is DOA.
@@PDVism what others have "pushed way into level 3"? And it should be obvious that autonomous driving systems will be safer than human drivers pretty soon.
@@charliedoyle7824 How many years ago has it been since Elon said that Tesla Robotaxis were going to be a thing ? This while Waymo actually put driversless taxis on the road. Do you deny that Tesla only uses 8 camera's. No Lidar. No ultrasonics. Nothing except some cheap camera's. No wonder it can't deal with actual city traffic in rainy, foggy, snowy or any other weather conditions that aren't bright and sunny. If you serious about autonomous driving instead of a just a Tesla fanboi you just have to use google. 'Level 3-enabled cars went on sale in December, Mercedes told Fortune. California and Nevada are the only two states where the company can legally sell the technology to consumers. The two state DMVs gave Mercedes approval to begin selling the cars last year' 'Level 3 highly automated driving available in the new BMW 7' And of course, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc are getting close as well. And this while Tesla has FULL SELF DRIVING (in small print : supervised). Or in other words, still level 2. A system that you can't rely on 100% is not a FULL proof system. And the proof is that Tesla puts the liability of using it 100% utterly and completely at the 'human driver'
that was actually scary to watch haha. how did you know it was going to turn into the turning lane and now cut into the street right away - was it obvious? I did hear you say "i'm going to stop it" but you let it go for some reason, which allowed FSD to show off how amazing it is!
Haha, that was fun to watch. Make more videos please sir. 😂
Bra-f*ing-vo!
Do yourr esearch, invest in Tesla!
that was the best unprotected left by fsd that i've seen to date. bravo
A lucky left turn. What if another car was in the middle lane?
The car would have seen it on its repeater camera and would have stopped.
