I am a priest, a rebel, a grandma, a blogger/vlogger. Proud to be a feminist and not afraid to be controversial. I also try to be kind and compassionate to all and spread light and love wherever I can. I am a rare blood cancer survivor and had a bone marrow transplant in Oct 16. I’m still having extensive treatment. This does not stop me getting up to as much mischief as I can.
This channel is about me trying to make sense of life and the world around me. I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer in 2000. These vlogs are my attempt to show how living alongside your diagnosis helps rather than letting the diagnosis take over. I’m a Londoner and street urchin having left home at 15. My parents were publicans and drank too much. How did this humble and challenging beginning lead to me being an outspoken and radical priest in the Church of England?

A cold dark night in Slovenia brings a moment of beauty. Finding light in these challenging times. Rebel Rev is philosophical about her cancer and covid as well as lockdown. No one can cope with cancer alone. Partners and families are the hidden victims. They all suffer and struggle. This loving tribute honours the love and support of a 30 year relationship whilst dealing with 20 years of cancer. Love doesn’t die, people do. When all that’s left of me is love, give me away.

Today is my 4th rebirthday, the anniversary of when I received my sisters life giving stem cells. Today I talk about my experience of being homeless and how we can make a difference to homeless people. That’s awful Kes you shouldn’t have to have surgery cancelled especially as you are vulnerable. I know how you feel about the colonoscopy as I had mine cancelled twice that was bad enough but 4 times is ridiculous I hope this gets resolved quickly. I also have to shield and only go out if I have too but I always wear my mask I don’t go in shops anymore because people won’t wear a mask. Stay safe both of you hope to see you when it is safe to do so xxx

That was quite a big tote bag. The sleep incline (I don't know what else to call it)--I have one that's made out of foam and has a cover on it. I use it every night and find that I sleep much better on it (with my CPAP machine on) than I ever have. Do have a happy Christmas and a better New Year than this fouled-up 2020 that we've just gone through.

I agree totally. The month after Christmas will be "National Kill Your Nan and Grandad" Month if we're not careful. What really needs to be done is to develop and roll out good robust methods of teaching over Zoom or another shared platform, until this pandemic has been dealt with. I hope you stay well and keep on fighting. A blessed Christmas to you and your family.
It’s utter madness Chris. Then today they say they may delay the start of term. It’s all about showing who’s got a bigger one. It drives me nuts because they are playing with peoples lives. Hope you’re ok to and that you and your partner have a safe and happy Christmas. X
