You’re doing great! 🥳 Don’t give up on the pencils!! Just do small parts of a page to start with don’t pressure yourself on completing the whole page. Start with just straight coloring and than work on shading and blending. You are doing great and everything takes time! Love your videos🤗

Its funny,I started a year ago too, and I color everything with colored pencils. (Polys and Pablos) 😂( I only recently started using other media. Neocolor, gel crayons etc.) I bought 3 books again, because I completely ruined them at the beginning with the colored pencils. I couldn't bear to look at the pages again and again. 🙃 Now I wish I still had them, so I could see my improvements. And yes, large empty spaces ... I don't like them either. Same with lot of water on a page 😂 But we dont give up. We are getting there 😁 Greetings from Germany! 💕

A lot of people base the picture with Alchohol markers and then go over it with colored pencils or gel pen.

I have heard that if you use Goldens Satin GlazingLiquid to prep your page then you can use watercolor.

I have 2 copies of all of my Johanna, Hannah and Maria trolle books. Because I didn’t when I had one copy of everything I didn’t want to mess them up. They just sat on the shelf unused because I was terrified to mess them up now I have two copies of everything so I don’t have to worry.

Ik zet bij al mn wips een blaadje met de combinaties van kleuren. Ook gebruik ik tegenwoordig een kleuren palette, ik vind kleuren combineren super lastig. Ik ga je volgen! Super leuk om mede hollanders te zien tekenen! Als je een keer een buddy zoekt, im in!!🤩😍

Net je kanaal ontdekt super leuk! Ik denk dat het je kan helpen om je potlood wat meer naar achter vast te houden zodat je minder druk zet en je punten minder snel breken. Daardoor kun je ook makkelijker spelen met effecten, layeren en blenden. Enne niet te streng zijn voor je zelf 😉 de platen die je zelf niet mooi vind zien er echt prima uit! 🤗💕

Great video. Are you heavy handed when you color? That may have been why you had some trouble with the Prismacolor pencils. Anyway, the Luminance are lovely pencils too. 😊
