The Fragmentarium project proposes an online laboratory for medieval manuscript fragments, and aims to serve as a node in developing the discipline of fragmentology.

I appreciate Fragmentarium and Centre uploading it. It was a really interesting presentation.
Am participat în direct la această prezentare de excepție, urmărită cu interes de mari specialiști, ai domeniului. Am recunoscut 12 dintre cele mai mari personalități ale codicologiei europene, printre care se află, puțini știu, și Adrian Papahagi, care a încântat și de data aceasta, prin conținutul prezentării, prin documentarea și ilustrarea acesteia, dar și prin elocință, și calitatea limbii engleze vorbite, lectura liberă în latină, pronunția în alte limbi... A fost un regal, în care s-a restituit atât activitatea de cercetare în codicologie și istoria cărții, cât și activitatea de conservare a fragmentelor de manuscrise medievale, efectuată în Laboratorul Național de Conservare și Restaurare de la Alba Iulia, de maestrul Alexandru Știrban și de echipa sa de aur. Un proiect, care ar trebui să facă obiectul atenției, atât a conducerii cât și a conservatorilor marilor biblioteci istorice din România, care adăpostesc astfel de valori! Prezentarea, urmată de întrebări și comentarii, a făcut mare onoare țării, fiind urmărită de specialiști din cel puțin zece țări.
