Bob Hope
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ส.ค. 2023
Bob Hope rose to the top of every medium he touched: headliner in Vaudeville, Broadway star,
radio icon, movie idol and superstar on television. His persona reached audiences of every age
in every decade of the 20th century.
A popular star in Vaudeville, it was Broadway’s “Roberta” where Bob eventually caught the eyes
of critics. In 1938, NBC signed him for a radio show that became a fixture in American homes.
It wasn’t long before Paramount called on Bob. He went on to make 50+ feature films, including
the popular “Road Pictures” with Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour. In 1950, his TV
career officially launched with “Star Spangled Revue.”
An accomplished man, Bob’s greatest legacy was his commitment to American service
personnel. For nearly 6 decades, at war or at peace, “G.I. Bob” crossed the globe with 57 USO
tours for troops in WW II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. In the
history of show business, no one traveled so far, so often, to entertain so many.

Really enjoyed the nostalgia & the quips. Relish the old days.
Dennis Thurman, played for my team, Dallas Cowboys. Great player
That Rambling uni on Doug Williams is amazing.
Doug Williams, first Black QB to win a Super Bowl I think he still works with the Washington Redskins.
I remember Earl at Tyler High school he was a total Beast! He was a very strong man playing football with Boys!
You give a an in their prime with Doug Williams, Earl, Ozzie, JJ, and Terry Miller….ill beat whoever you put in front of me….
John Jefferson almost fell on his back hip pads.
She can dance
Cool I may have heard that that Kermit Thor actor or Elmo was kind of scary
Bob Hope had all these Great FBA's on his show but Bob was a Flaming Racist!
These all-star introductions were so awesome. Could you imaging trying to get the 22 top college players all together for ANYTHING these days?
Never. They're entitled
These guys are about 20 years old, and look 45.
The Jackson Five were and remain one of the greatest groups of all time!!!!
So So Beautiful Funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What year was this clip made?
Thanks for posting. I was 10. We watched this on our very stylish portable, on a roller stand, TV! Bing Crosby and Andy Williams were the highlight of the Christmas season along with Mr. Magoo as Scrooge!
There’s a beautiful story about the creation of this song! Look it up! ❤
Simply beautiful he was so talented.
❤❤❤
I made Bob Hope laugh when I met him.😊😊❤❤
At the moment, I am going through a Magnum PI stage and watching all of the episodes and remembering how cool it was from when I first watched it as a young teenager. I have read Tom Selleck's book also. In his way of saying somethings great, "Terrific".
Bob was a special, one of a kind talent.
Love Bob Hope and The Muppets!
Two legends together.
I remember watching this with my parents in the 70 when Star Wars came out. Great times to be a kid, and Hollywood wasn't weird. Everyone could watch shows like these when they weren't a freak show.
Tom mentions this in his awesome memoir YOU NEVER KNOW 😂
It isn't often Perry Como did comedy. The nostalgia is strong with this one.
I always liked Bob Hope doing the All America Team. Even with the corny jokes. I miss his specials.
You big dummy Santa!... If you go to Harlem dressed like that, it really is going to be a holy night... And you can forget about the hot cocoa... We'll be lucky to even get any Ripple!
What show is this from
It's the big one, Elizabeth!
I'm coming to join you. lol
Enjoyed ❤
Ann-Margret Gorgeous talented and smart
Seeing a young Daisy Duke was quite a treat!
Love Angie! 💛
Thanks for posting. Was the date for this Christmas show actually January 16th? That seems odd.
Bob Hope never gets old ...just like Hope
This last part had me crying hard. We lost so many very young men and those that made it back home were greeted with nothing but disdain. We, as a nation, need to learn that war is not the answer.
Elizabeth e Richard non hanno Potuto dimenticare quell amore Infinito che c era tra loro ❤❤❤❤❤❤
She's a great actress, so charismatic.
Interesting how they had opposite lifespans. Freddie Prinze was 22. Bob Hope was 100.
ANN-MARGRET!!!!!
The good 'ol days when comedy was fun and entertaining
In 1978 & 1979, a "Vaudeville Show" was put on, at our local High School, featuring numerous, famous 'stars' of yesteryear! There was Milton Berle, Donald O'Connor, Georgie Jessel, Forrest Tucker, Gloria DeHaven, 'Crazy Guggenheim", "The Harmonicetts", plus 1950's musical groups, to name a few! These shows were hilarious & showed that 'old jokes & humour" still held up, 50 years later! It was the greatest $3.00 admission, of my life!
Bob you suck 😆
Vedo Elizabeth che guarda Burton, Con occhi adoran.ti che esprimlono amore ❤❤❤❤❤
Good actor
uhh no !
