To be able to be so precise with a industrial router like that around curves and free hand this stuff is nothing short of remarkable. In a cheaper guitar line all of that work would be done via CNC milling machines. Necks are tricky because many are not made from a single block of wood, they are made in a laminate fashion using various woods.

Very elegant work, there are so many small details in the construction that American makers seem to have forgotten, or do not do because it reduces the profit on each instrument. I expect these guitars are hard to find outside of Japan, but I will look for one to add to my collection.

I have various guitars and basses from late 70s and early 80s, built at the fabled Matsumoku plant in Japan 🙏 Even the ones marketed, back then, at 'starters' are very well made indeed. I have some in original condition, and more than 40 years later they're great players! 👍😎 Top of the line ones are just absolutely incredible... All the specs you could only ever expect from highly expensive custom shop models! Made in Japan means, to me, pure excellence.

Why isn't anyone wearing gloves ? Fingers are a nice thing to keep.

Сейчас тоже делаю себе гитару из ясеня с накладкой из капа. Красить такую красоту не буду, просто покрою лаком и от полирую. Жму руку японским коллегам.

до китайских мастеров им очень далеко и это не шутка!
