If you play on Blackrock, which is a PVP only realm with no PVE content, you get instant 80 and up to Relentless (ilvl 258) gear for free. If you play on Icecrown (a PVE + PVP realm), you can pay for instant 80 but will not have any gear that lets you play competitively. For both of these servers, you can buy gear from the Warmane store (P2W). Lordaeron on the other hand is similar to Icecrown but without the P2W (you can't buy gear but you can still buy fully decked out toons) and has harder PVE content. I recommend Blackrock if you just want to try out Warmane battlegrounds. There are two gear brackets, and the starter gear of Blackrock will typically place you in the lower bracket so you don't have to face players with the best gear. Keep in mind, as soon as you earn or donate for a single piece of gear that's around or above ilvl 264 on Icecrown, you get permanently bumped up to the higher gear bracket, which will ruin your battleground gameplay until you manage to improve your gear. And also you have no easy access to Relentless gear from Icecrown without arena rating (unlike Blackrock where they get it for free).

In case someone else is wondering why I have so much clutter on my screen. I run a DPS meter and healing meter to see what type of players I have on my team. Two mini maps for situational awareness (the carbonite map lets me see teammates who are in combat). Enemy team battleground frame so I can quickly see who I am fighting against. A combat log is always showing so I can see what happened when I review the footage. The rest should be self-explanatory. Generally speaking, clean UIs are overrated. I didn't get a QHD monitor to look at more grass and rocks.

half the server is bis now , but you can still find the pugs doing icc's and toc's. There is still an influx of new players , and thats so amazing for a server this old.

Yeah, it's rare to have a good group for Wintergrasp during North America evening hours. It seems like we lose 80% of the time during these hours now.

@@mehmedmehmedov4487 Try going into your NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > "I would like to use the following 3D settings:" > Program Settings > Add. See if adding 3.3.5a wow.exe to this enables recording for you.

Copying and pasting from a previous response: The ret ability addon is CLCret, I run Skada and Recount for damage and healing tracking, the Wintergrasp timer is an addon I made for myself, Pallypower is what you see on the right side for buffing the raid, I used MoveAnything to move the paladin aura bar, the extra bars are from ExtraBar, XPerl for Player/Target/Focus/TargetTarget UI, TidyPlates for nameplate replacements, SoundAlerter tells me when an important PVP spell is used, SaySapped tells my teammates I'm sapped, WIM for handling whispers in an IM style, PlateBuffs shows important buffs on nameplates, BattlegroundTargets shows enemy raid frame (you need to find a modified version on Warmane forum if you use Mercenary Mode), Carbonite for the 2nd mini-map that contains slightly more information, DeadlyBossMod for battleground objective timers, SnowFallCursor for higher visibility cursor, and Healbot for friendly raid frame. I don't think there's a simple way to do that because I use multiple addons. Maybe you should look for an all-in-one UI replacement on the Warmane forum.

I use both of them regularly. The combination of the two saves me from having to open up the full map frequently. You are probably not aware of this, but these videos are primarily meant for myself, which is why I include as much information as I feel like I would want to have when accessing these videos in the future. That said, eventually I plan on finding a better spot on the screen to merge the two maps into a single larger carbonite map. I'm considering moving the radar down to the bottom middle area and using the entire upper right-hand corner for the map.

You get used to it. Playing at higher resolution (1440p and above) also helps a lot. TBH I do it this so when I review my videos, I can tell what was happening in the battleground. The videos are mostly for myself, but I don't mind other people watching them.

Not much of a raid. It was meant as a time filler while we wait for BG queues. But we got crushed, nonetheless.

Yeah... not a big fan of WPVP for this reason.

That's true and I also hate it when Alliance does the same. Maybe one day we'll have a guild with enough players to play battlegrounds internally without relying on randoms. It can be like a pick-up basketball game where teams can be rebalanced/repicked as needed.
