I had the same problem first the washer backed the stand pipe onto the floor and eventually the sink didnt drain had a plumber come snaking didnt work ended up cutting the pipe and it was packed with gunk with about an eighth of an inch of space left for water to flow through. That took care ofbthe problem how about almost a year later washer started the same thing again but the sink water still goes down good and they both are connected on the same pipe line.
Les gooo
You need a 25ft drain auger with a drill attachment. The spinnning action is needed to negotiate those turns in the pipe. Its definitely a clog.
funny funny comic one of the best

I had to look at this Video thanks 💕
Undersized drain pipe. Needs to be 2” drain for modern machines.
New washer and dryer abd your hitting them with the snake. Put a towel over it. Geeze.
Typical woman standing around in the way spouting all of their good ideas they haven’t tried while all they do is hinder the man working on her mess…
That guy is holding weed lol clog the line lol😂

Wow, you filmed this twelve years ago. We are hoping to get there this summer, 2023.
Definitely have a ventilation issue. It’s called air displacement. You can only put so much water into something before you have to let air out. If you put a hose on a milk jug and seal it air tight then as soon and I mean as soon as you turn the water on, it’s sure to explode! This is because air is a thing even though you can’t see it…. Most of the time. But if you put a small hole in the top that same milk jug before adding water you will notice that this allows the air to be pushed out by the water therefore letting it drain adequately. AIR DISPLACEMENT! Try it. I’m sure you’ll find this solution to be the fixer.
This EXACT thing is happening to me. It started with my sink, and 2 days later my laundry rooms drain stopped draining right. I had a plumber come by and snake 75 feet down and it still didn’t fix the problem. To make things worse, the water sprayed so bad that it’s now in my walls and it’s smelling up my front room. I really hope someone knows what the problem is to help me figure it out.

Thank you for sharing this video. My elderly neighbor had the same issue. We got a drain hose with a longer end to insert into the drain hole and that worked.
so the longer drain hose stopped it from overflowing? where did you get it, home depot?
Thanks loading this video, same problem happened to me.

Any way I can get your repairman to come check my washer in Miami, Florida? Great video, thank you!

i have no patience for idiots
New washers have a high drainage output
Need to install a respirator line and a u trap also to give it time to drain
What exactly do you mean respirator line? I'm having this same problem.
I told my husband to check the drain. Now we still have our issue. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I told him five times to run water down it. But, at least I got rid of my front loader.
This is scary
Okaaaaay….
Why not use the the water supply hose from the washer machine hose!!!!!!!
2:31 draining

i have to choose if i wanna go to north port or port charlotte high school. i can’t decide which one to go to so if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, can you help me out??

Red tailed hawks are mainly perch-to-ground hunters, not on-the-wing hunters, as erroneously explained by the guy. This distinction belongs primarily to the falcons. Crepuscular means active during twilight hours, ie, late afternoon to early evening or, late evening to early morning; not "whenever they feel like it" like the guy said Animals that are active during day or night are referred to as ambiurnal or polyurnal species. Skunks, for the record, are crepuscular to nocturnal. Roaches are Dictyopterans. Coleopterans are the beetles and weevils.
Is hair, lint and some poop.
I hope there is a special place in hell for people that take advantage of the Elderly... This Old man is getting screwed by Family, Electricians and Plumbers...
Mine it's doing the same. Too slow. Liquid not working yet. I'm to the point of installing a new pipe. The original pipe goes under the house. You don't want to crawl under a house from the 70s maybe. I prefer working on a pipe outside
Fungus on hands... ew. Where is the cleanout?
Hire a plumber to come in and dig from the outside??? THAT WILL COST A FORTUNE! What did they finally do to resolve the problem? Any updates would be appreciated.
It might be a kinked discharged hose.
Keep growing 😀
1 comment is a good one
ok boomer
That camera captures so much detail tho..
A for effort. I still can't figure it out.
If the washer is pushing more than the pipe can hold .you can try to slow the water from the washer by adding 4 inches of a wooden broom stick.if that doesn't work cug out wall behind washer to access the pipe behind wall use a 25 foot snake o r longer
So do you just put the four inches of broom handle in and leave it?
@@brandonbartges3916 yep shove it past where the pipe bends so the water pressure doesn't blow it back out
Sometimes in older washer box drains the newer washers push more water than the pipe can hold...if not it's better to cut the the wall out under the washer box to access the pipes better
Awesome thank you
No problem ..I hope it solves problem
