If someone didn't like X's personality of pacifism and why reploids must fight. Zero series Zero of stoic style gets told what to do where people need help and goes and does it would be a breath of fresh air for some but if you're not down for that he very a much boring tough who never doubts himself has development outside of "I don't think of myself as a hero, I do what I'm told and follow through with it" Two extremes but it is a solution for people who didn't like the characterization of the characters in the X games

THE CURSED LP

Well, this was a surprise. Okay time for the ZX breakdown. Starting with the protagionists, these are not dual protags, but selectable. Between them they have three differences: crawl speed, knockback from damage, & story. Aile has the faster crawl, while Vent's is slower, and knockback distance for Vent is not as much as Aile's. Story wise, Vent's story ties more into the Zero series and gives more lore explanations, while Aile's makes the story of ZX more self-contained. Admittedly, I only remember this due to being confused in why the Zero series was getting brought up in my 2nd playthrough with Vent when I hadn't seen it before in Aile's story. Something else worth mentioning here is that the protagionist's health can be upgraded with life-ups and there are 4 of them (Areas D-1, F-2, I-5, & J-1), although some exploration will be needed to find them properly. Additionally, there are sub-tanks that can be found and aquired, but are not required unless you want to make some of the trickier/harder bosses easier. The Items page of the pause menu has three categories: A which is items that'll replenish health (including an actual original series Mega Man E-Tank), B which are modify chips unlocked through side-quests, & C which are key cards and unlocked after completing certain missions. The biometals of ZX are, in short, the digital spirits and physical manifestations of older reploids, specifically the Zero series ones, so this end up with Model X, Z (Zero), H (Harpy), F (Fefnir), L (Leviathan), & P (Phantom). This is excluding the big threat one that gets shown in the story, and the one that is post-game exclusive and requires beating ZX's superboss. I'll give out other details for the biometals if you can't figure them out, they are somewhat self explanitory/easy to figure out. The double buster blast is from what I can figure (which might not be much since no one on the MM subreddit talks about that detail and only occasionally brings up ZX in general) is meant to be a callback to some later NES X games where X's chagre shot was a double shot. Now for the most important thing for you to keep in mind or write down: details on the map. The map is by far the worst part of ZX and without looking up a guide or hours of wandering around aimlessly, you will end up lost more often than not. For context, this map is worse than most of the maps I've seen for Metroidvanias. So here's what to keep in mind: most areas with red borders on the map are more or less straight forward with a little exploration being possible, while blue borders tend to be more confusing. Where you'll want to go after getting access to Model Z (and general mission order) is Area E, head back to C-2 and go all the way to the right of the area, this'll lead to E-1 (Mission: Search the Plant). After that is Area G, from where Model Z is gained head right as much as possible (Mission: Fight the Mavericks). Then is Area F, from about the halfway point of B-1 head up (as in jump up) to what looks like a cave opening, from there enter and follown the path as much as possible to Area F (Mission: Find the Survivors). Then is Area H, which from A-3 in an upper right, out of the way spot (which you were actually near at one point), that'll be H-1 (Mission: Secure the Biometal). After that it doesn't matter which order you go in since you'll have access to the base biometals for you to use. I'll start providing details for map directions once you are at or past the half way point of the game (the event is story based). Gotta admit all that info for the map was mostly me piecing together and remembering where to go as I was watching the video. The only other thing to mention is that there are side quests in the game, but you can beat the game without doing any, hence why I didn't bring them up as a major or minor topic. Other than that good luck with ZX!

Zero is not better than X he is just a superior warrior If you play through the original Mega Man X games they even talk about this when Sigma suggest that Zero would in fact beat Mega Man in a fight which makes sense. Zero was created by Dr Wily in order to destroy Mega Man. He is the ultimate tool of destruction Mega Man X on the other hand was created to save the world and help people One is a natural born killer the other is the savior of mankind
