Sounds like you have a defective one unfortunately. I own the same product, mine doesnt make that noise, but the nyko fan runs very loud.

Sharks need Saltwater. You can buy it at an aquarium store by the gallon. You'll need to buy a hydrometer to check the salinity so that the ph is good.

Unfortunately I no longer have my aquarium. My home was devastated by Hurricane Harvey a few years ago. Regarding the shark/eels/fish/etc. I had an oversized protein skimmer, kept water in the low 70's with a chiller, checked the pH often and added distilled water when necessary. Only feed them every 3 days or so. Running overhead lights will raise the water temperature so I used a timer. Ran lights on area below with plants to soak up Nitrates.

@@Noobmaster-ug4cc I would go with crushed coral instead of sand because they like to root and bury under the sand while looking for small worms and stuff. Regular sand would get pretty cloudy in your aquarium.
How would you subscribe the difference in sound compared to the Onkyo speakers? And do you really hear a big difference?
Yes there's a huge difference! The only thing that's given me any cause for concern is my center channel speaker. At the time I didn't have a true center and was using one of the prime satellite speakers. Recently I've purchased the Polk Audio S35 slim speaker due to size constraints.

It was video from my initial purchase. What exactly do you want to know? It sounds great in my small 1000 sq ft condominium. I'm using an Onkyo RZ 720 7.2 channel receiver to push all speakers. At the time nothing was calibrated but it is now. Crossovers are set to 80hz on the satellite speakers and at 60hz on the bookshelf speakers. I'm using an Oppo UDP-203 on my LG C6 65" OLED which handles Dolby Vision and still has 3D capabilities.

Are you using the center prime speaker or are you using the difference center?
I'm using one of the SVS Prime Satellite Speakers as a Center Channel. I think that the SVS Center Channel that they sell for roughly $350? is too large for my current TV stand. Plus my home is small (roughly 1k sq/ft.) so it's not like I need a lot. My seating position is roughly 10 - 12 feet from my 65" tv.

It seems to me that either you got a faulty cooler or is not sitting properly on top of the xbox causing the rattle noise. Also, you probably didn't feel much air coming out because the cooler kicks in once you start playing a game and the systems gets hot.

You definitely have a defective unit. The fan is brushing up against something internally making that flicker sound. otherwise it seems like it can be pretty quiet. thanks for the post.
No I haven't had it replaced yet, it's sitting here in my counter. I purchased it through Amazon.com so I've been lazy regarding sending it in.

My shark, Billy Ocean, died last year around Christmas. He was injured by some live rock while feeding and stopped eating. He is surely missed. Recently I have purchased another shark egg and am in the process of hatching it so stay tuned!

These here in this video are saltwater eels. There are freshwater eels out in the wild that are found in lakes, ponds, and streams. The "electric" eels that you're thinking of are actually a fish and not a real eel. They're found in South America and aren't kept in home aquariums.
Any proper aquarium store should have some kind of exotic saltwater fish. You can't buy these type of fish at Petsmart. LOL!

Actually, I now have to Zebra Eels, Grouper, Domino Damsel, and a banded (bamboo) cat-shark. They all get along as long as everybody is fed regularly.

@1992lance It is not a nurse shark. I've had him for almost 5 years and he hasn't grown in the last 2 or 3 years. I hatched the egg myself. I know what a nurse shark looks like.
